So much had happened in the years before the major change happened, people were scared and fear did only one thing. Fear makes us stupid and hate and hate breeds war, and war it truly was becoming. People known as "Freaks" were being found and taken away, if the person that got captured didn't fight to hard they would be taken to "The Mountain" Sadly all it meant was a slower death. There was one man who Luna had been looking out for, his name was Alex Parker. He was the captain of the guard and the way he treated freaks made her kind of sick but she hoped that one day she could change his view on the gifted. But she knew what she could say and not say to him but he respected her feelings and what she felt. Her job was beside him Alex was many things but she wasn't a complete killer, inside he was scared. His parents had been killed by a couple freaks and because of this he was cold to them.
Luna Harker was the one the freaks liked because she made their lives a little easier for she was one of them. But she hid that fact which wasn't that hard to do, she had nose bleeds and eye bleeds but thankfully she can "sense" them ahead of time. She loved Alex but would never tell him that, because she was afraid of rejection. But things were about to change, she was the one people protected because she was the most powerful. She was right under the noses of everyone and passed all tests. She tried so many times to stop death but she couldn't use a portion of her ability because people would know what she was. Luna knew that one of the prisoners the most powerful had a daughter and knew who she was and where she was, but she was protecting the child because this was not what she wanted. She was with Alex just talking like they did and she felt something that made her look. The look on her face alerted Alex.
She went to see "her" and as they took her in she watched the woman being taken out and she had signs of torture which she healed some of the wounds within her to help her live longer for her daughter. But it was this that would be the time her own power would wake up, and when it would happen it would kill everything inside. Luna was told about her inner power that she held away and made sure no one knew it. They had many conversations where she was teaching her about her powers. She only had one person she loved and it was Alex because she believed he was good inside and would do anything to wake that part of him up which was why she said what she said and did what she had to do. But her hands were not bloody that much she did know. In that moment as she went into the room where Alex was the woman was in the center she knew what would happen. She didn't know if she could see this.
"Alex..." Was all she could say when she saw the doctor ready to give her the serum that would kill her, his hand started to shake. "Doctor?" She heard herself say and he looked at her, looking into his eyes she knew what was going on. "Chloe..." She said under her breath and looked at the woman, the man was dead and Alex ran to him but something happened she could not see only "Feel" When Alex looked at her she saw the same eyes and she put her hands up. She watched him release the woman and heard what came out of his mouth. "I'm here mommy I will protect you" But she didn't hear Alex say that because she was gifted, when Chloe looked at her she nodded and helped her get so far. When the alarm sounded and everything was closing up things were getting worse. Within moments Alex was back and trying to strangle the woman to kill her. She didn't know what to do.
"Alex Stop!" She screamed loudly as her scream destroyed a bunch of lights around her. Soon she felt Chloe come back and noticed she was forcing him to hit his head into the wall to kill him. "Stop!' She put her hand up and forced Chloe out of her body and motioned for the woman to go. She knelt down and felt him dying, she felt his hand on her cheek. Her eyes were closed and when she felt his hand on her cheek tears fell down her cheeks and when she opened up her eyes and her eyes seemed to change.
She could hear his heart failing and she looked at him, she knew this would save him or would be her own death. But her power was coming out and she could hear the woman's voice in her head telling her tank you as she left the facility. "For years I have wanted to tell you, but was afraid I would loose you. I am so much more then even you can fathom. I don't want to loose you but to save you will mean me loosing you" She said and held him close and closed her eyes and when she opened her eyes it was then blood tears fell down her cheeks. She placed her hand on his chest and was healing him from the outside in. In doing this she made herself a target and rather he would care for her? She cared only for him and pushed herself as she screamed using a part of herself to heal him, meaning she was taking in most of the pain he was feeling. Soon everything fell silent and she was panting.
She could hear guns being cocked at her and when her eyes opened up, she had this look like she could and would kill them. But she choose not to use her powers again. "If you have to experiment on someone, do it on me. I am an Omega meaning I am one of the most powerful, I stayed quite and stood by your side. I let you kill people like me. I was planted here to try and get everyone out of here, but as I learned more about you and your troops, I fell in love with the man you are not the monster you become when watching doctors dissect others like me and why? I see the question in your eyes. I learned to look the other way" She wiped the blood away and sighed sadly." She stood up when Alex did and put her hands together and out towards him because she thought he would ignore there relationship due to what she was.
