May I make a few suggestions? Most of the stories I have read and edited would be much better if the authors would follow a few simple rules of the road.
1. Read your own story!. It is amazing how many distracting errors you will find.
2. Run spell check BEFORE you submit to the board or an editor.
3. Know who you are writing for! A story written for the entertainment of younger women will be quite different from one written for more mature men OR women. I could go on this subject for hours.
