I like the fourth one, with that single bird sitting on a branch. And... That's a lot of grey skies. :)

thanks :)

out where i am - east london suburbs, we had the best sunshine saturday. yesterday was warm but very overcast at times, no bright blues. The moody effect of the dark ones, though, was purely a lucky accident where my phone cam decided to change its setting (it was on auto).

my favourite of two or three. thanks :D

I see London
I see France
I see Butters's underbrush

Try again.

I see London
I see France
I see Butters's bushes and shrubberies

Hmmmm .... not quite right.

I see London
I see France
I see Butters's underplants

I'll come up with something eventually ...............

The camera probably has an accelerometer to detect when a picture is taken sideways, and automatically flags the photo. When you view it on Windows, it does the "smart" thing and automatically rotates it for you (without actually saving this rotation to the file). You'd have to install a different image viewer (one that showed you the picture as it is, without automatically rotating it for you). Unfortunately, I don't know of any free ones (I use ACDSee, myself, which isn't free), though I'm certain some other board here on Lit can give you suggestions. Of course you can always use Windows' "paint" app to do this, but if you have a lot of sideways photos, be prepared to click, and click, and click...

Nice to see the blossom out, our Pear trees are smothered in blossom. Just hope we don't get any frosts which is what did for therm last year.

thanks, hon :)
yeah, i got it all figured out in the end - if i open the pics i've sent to my own email, they show up which way round they are even if they looked right as previews... so i click to save then open up all the offending ones in Paint and rotate accordingly. I might even return and put these here right! :D

yeah, lots of things are sprouting and displaying now, annie
i've some ornamental fruit tree (not a big one, but pretty) that's covered in bright pink, and the old pear stump has thrown out a few branches since it was cut and they are now loaded with snowy white. let's keep our fingers crossed for no frosts.

between the white of the pear and another shrub that's starting its own wedding-display of tiny flowers, the bright ornae cotoneaster berries, the pink blossom, the bright yellow holly flowers and splashed ivy, and now the bluebells starting to open ... things are getting pretty colourful :D

from my garden yesterday and this afternoon arriving home from work - it's goin' nuts.

the shrub with white blossom has bloomed over 2 days, the bluebells are opening, and everything's reaching for the sky!

Too small, too small...But I like those white blossoms. Is it a garden you take care of (e.g., a backyard)?

these latest are my front garden - it's had a trim since these were taken, the grass is now only a few inches long :D

managed to get a few back at their original size, but not the one i wanted. i'll have to resend it to myself via phone.
