The following is posted with the permission of the author, labennett.

It is of course not a viewpoint I share, but this usually mild mannered Canadian has once again displayed her talent in yet another genre....she also sketches....you may find more about her at this link:

And at times there's just something,
something,
you know, that brakes at my teeth then screams
because it needs a savage bite
into the cursive chew of rant,
and I want it to be vulgar,
to pulse between the dullest skull;
this glossy sickness— of IS.

For those fashion-fondled bourgeois
whose flaccid words gleam like pearls perched
on silicone lifted tits,
never tarnished by the grime,
this living stenches into pores, dirtying us down to adapt
while they froth some spittle soapbox hurl
and heave it squeaky-clean
for ivory scented sleeping sheep.

I'd like to see their nipples bared
chaffed by suckling gums.
Let them moan with passion then,
how tough a hard on is
rammed fat down an open throat
that has no other choice.

It's that mother of invention, that bitch I want to
chain, her and every henchman
whose phallic need to keep control,
birthed this culture of the dick that country fucks
for —war.

And I guess you could call me uncultured
—even crass perhaps
but I just don't see the worth of death, always served for free,
eaten by the creditless
for meals that fill the have, have mores
then starve the ones who bleed.

Yeah, sometimes it's just something,
too big to give a name
that biles its way into my mouth and makes me yank this chain
because every fuck is different
yet only the contexts —change.
