A Dom or a Master?

I think that might be different for different people but to me a Master is a Dominant while a Dominant isn't always a Master.

To me, a Dominant owning a slave or collaring a submissive is a Master: it indicates some form of ownership or responsibility of/for a slave/submissive.

Have to agree with stardust, it is very dependent on people's interpretations of the meaning. For us he is Master or Amo, but then he owns me.

If sir is "master" is his submissive then "slave?" I'm looking for opinions and also experiences....please share.

In play He is Master and I am His slut. I'm not a slave, I'm a sub. We're not 24/7 even though we live together......:) Out of scene we live like any other couple, though maybe I do serve more than usual because of His health.

Thanks Bandit, I guess we can all work out our own definitions according to what is right for us. I am Sir's submissive, he feels like "master" to me but I am not comfortable with "slave."

i have several Dominants but no one is my Master. i am not collared to any of them. We have a rather open relationship that may include them singlely or as a group. i also am not comfortable with the term slave. Its just a personal thing with me-i refer to myself a submissive. JMHO......
