I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but it seemed fitting as it is also praising feedback.

How, how, how can I find Mark Singer?

Where did he go? Does he post any new stories on some other board? Google searches have been dispatched, to no avail.

Any clues are helpful on this search for more of his FANTASTIC work.

By the dates of his posts here - no later than 2002 - he probably has put down his pen and gone to find himself a life. Unlike us, he's probably grown up.

You can't be desperate if you are too rude to monitor your own thread and reply. Some politeness would help.

My sincere apologies. I had read your reply; since it didn't seem to ask for a reply or provide the answer I wanted I didn't think I needed to reply. I am not used to forum etiquette and was merely waiting for more replies. Sorry about that.

I wonder if what you say is true, and hope it isn't. The guy could really write up some heat. Thanks for chipping in anyhow.

Heh. Speak for yourself.

Wow. Speaking of being rude and getting a life...

Uliq, you owe no one an apology, and forum etiquette is very loose. There are no rules about responding in a timely manner. It's impossible to know why someone doesn't post, so don't worry about it.

I did notice looking at your guy's profile that he does have favorites listed that posted in 2008, so he's been around a bit. Just hasn't posted any new stories. You could try either PMing him, or even better, go to his member page and click on "contact." If you leave him a message there, it will e-mail him.

Good luck.

Buddy, if you haven't found him by now, he isn't to be found. :(

That's just the way things work out here. The authors here write because they want to, and when they don't, they stop. Hopefully some of us with talent break into "real" fiction... But if so that's even more incentive to distance ourselves from our porn-writing alter-egos, which the "legitimate" readership is not always understanding about. Whatever the case, there are authors that have dropped off the face of the earth--some in the middle of their own stories, leaving them uncompleted (Chicago Bob still has more "Amanda", and jfinn never did get around to the last chapter of "Amy's Smile"). And, when that happens, you smile, shrug and move on. After all, you got half a novel for free, which is more than you get normally. :)
