Juliet had known Minou for several years they were best friends, he was seven years older, she met him when she was fresh out of highlights. They had been friends since she didn't live far from him, and it was a natural thing. She had met him when he was out of highlights, she would have been in sixth grade so of course she didn't bother him much, it was when she was eighteen and he was twenty four. Because she was no longer to young to spend time with him. He was there when she graduated. She really cared for him and he seem to respect how she viewed sex, she wanted to wait till marriage to do it, so getting married is that much more important. They were friends only when she told him that was what she wanted, after a good year they got closer. They hung out all the time, they even worked together at the same business, it was something his mother told him his father owned. But what they didn't know was his mother had lied to Minou ever since he was old enough to understand how life worked. The truth of the matter was Minou was the son of the devil, the actual devil and that his mother's death wasn't an accident. His mother refused the birth father telling him he would never find him, problem was that with his birthday coming up he was going to start turning into his fathers son. He was truly a demon and now that his birthday is upon him he would start to change to lead a life as the prince of hell. On his 25th birthday he asked her to be his wife, the engagement ring was beautiful, really beautiful he had spent the money he saved to buy her the ring. She said yes and there life and struggles were about to begin.
She moved into his place since she didn't have much, she didn't need things to make her happy she needed just Minou. When she woke up to make them some breakfast, she noticed he wasn't in their bed and didn't know where he was. She heard the shower going on but when she tried to open the door it was locked and that was something that never happened, she knocked on the door when he yelled to leave him alone she grew worried. She tried getting in but when he finally yelled at her, but the voice of his seemed deeper. She had no idea that his change from human to demon was happening, very slowly but still happening. She placed her hand on the door she tried to see through it, she had an ability that she got on her grandmother's side, she was able to touch people or objects and see it's history it was hard to describe but if she touched a person and concentrated enough she could tell you the person's history, on the other side of that door he was cutting his nails which were black, thick and long more like claws then anything. She left the door letting him do what ever it was, he had been moody the last few days but he always came back to apologize and kiss her. She still didn't want sex before marriage but things were meant to change. She was making breakfast and sighed softly she made two dishes and placed both down on the table, she walked back to the bathroom telling him there was food for him then left.
Sitting down she began to eat here's but it wasn't till she heard the bathroom door swing open.
