A Decade with Lit

I just realized that I've been with Lit for nearly a decade. I remember joining the site with the idea of writing stories and getting them out to an audience more mature that was apparent on Fanficton.net. I'll never forget being in awe at the site as I read stories all over the place. It inspired me to join up and put together my own works. Little did I realize how popular my stuff would become. Nearly every single story I worked out, earn a "Hot" tag, and the comments just made me work harder to bang out the next story. I was even nominated for monthly awards a few times, though I never won any, it was crazy to think that people thought my work was good enough to be mentioned in nomination.

Then as life caught up with me, I lost a lot of the time I had to write stand alone works. That was when I came to the forum and found a new kind of fun. Writing mere segments of a story with a partner became a new excitement as I found myself always looking forward to what another person would come up with as a continuation of the story.

Now as I realize that my start was just about ten years ago I sit back and say wow.
