How many have raped someone and not been "caught?"

I don't think anyone sick enough to actually rape someone would fess up to it.

You might be surprised at how many people will anonymously post concerning their exploits.

A rapist is someone who enjoys control and has a solid sense of self.


A chance to say," I did it", even if they brag, isn't out of the realm of reality.

Of course, if they expect to be attacked...well who knows?

Anyway, the question was asked out of curiousity. It seems there are an abundance of requests on the "Story Ideas" forum for rape scenes/stories.


I was just curious, is all.

Of course, we know that there have to be some rapists and pedophiles here.

I would say that a rapist is someone who has little sense of self, or self-worth, and perhaps rapes in a futile attempt to get some control into his pathetic life.

Kind of like some (but not all) of the so-called BDSM "Masters" running around the web...

I wouldn't be surprised if someone DID post that they had commited rape or any other sexual assault, even if it meant posting it as 'unregistered'. Rape is about control and I don't think many that who would be sick enough to do it would stop shy of 'bragging' about it.

While the mind of a viloent criminal is heady stuff for me, I really don't see a rapist as one that does alot of insight seeking. I rather see them as giving into urges, and be damned whose lives they cripple and destroy.

I'd love for my rapist to come into this thread and say why he raped me, why he emotionally tortured me for another 20 years following. Yeah, i'd love to know, but it won't happen because he blew his brains out.

I've often wondered why a person would be driven to rape and I've often wondered what I would do if I ever came face to face with my rapist.

As an early adolescent, however, I know my mind passed over every possible way of getting an opportunity for sex - I'm talking 12 or 13 here. Every female was a potential fuck for a time. Relationship didn't come into it. Now I couldn't have sex without a relationship.

Also, I was very slow to realise that other human beings had feelings, too. My world was mechaninical, physical, logical until I was 20 or so. It was only then that this dawned on me. I don't know if boys are particularly prone to this.

So I imagine, as with most stages of human development it is possible to be stuck in a stage and fail to develop through it.

Not that any explanation helps you girls /and men/ who have been victims to such violence.

I think you are speaking more of sexual agression, that is different.
Think of it like this...can you see yourself forcing yourself on a woman, holding her down or restraining her, and threatening her, amongst her pleading screams of NO! Please, NO! , or worse, her terrified silence, and raping her of her soul???

I might be wrong but somehow Lit doesn't strike me as the type of place where rapists would hang out.

Seems like they would be frustrated by the un-physically-reachable-ness of folks here (stretching the English language here). And I don't picture them getting off on the free expression indulged in here.

I suppose there might be stalkers who would take advantage of private info. given to them to go after a woman. But even then I would guess that RL would offer easier opportunities.

I apologize for the use of the word without explanation.

My tone is seething with sarcasm and the word was used from the POV of the rapist. They do take pride in what they do. they do view it as a notable act and in some instances, heroic.

I certainly meant no offense to anyone.

Sex offenders often have a routine or pattern of behavior prior to commiting the act. For many, porn is part of it.

Also, rapists may enjoy the sexualized interaction here in an effort to not feel too bad about their crimes.
