My name is Jake Blackmane, I am a Black Stallion, black fur color meaning I am of african or afroamerican blood, named Jake Stormhoove when I was born. My parents were a black afroamerican mare and a native american pale blue stallion. This large piece of land in southern texas has been owned by my family since the Civil War when his eighth grandfather took the lands of the surrounding areas away from the slavers.
I am proud of my heritage as an american and have taken my father's tribe name as my surname instead of Stormhoove when I came of age. I never went to college after I finished High School, I love this farm and wish to make it prosper like it did in the old days of my grandfather before the bubble bursts and World War Two started.
Taking up work as a dog breeder I have made some extra cash for myself and my business, and made a reputation on several dog contests as a first class dog breeder, it's fun and earnest work. Trained these dogs to be hunters, guards and entertainers and have earned many prices for their performance, though it is only a part time job. My main business is the farm, I do not just sell wheat, vegetables, fruit and hay but also has a lot of cattle, eggs, milk, chickens and so on.
All in all it is a lot for one man to handle on his own, I have no aids or friends who can help me out days in the end. It just feel right so I don't use domestic animals to pull my wagons of wares, nor do I use a car, not that I have one, as I never liked those things noisy and smelly things. So I pull the wares on my own by putting myself as the puller of the wagons, many call it crazy to pull tons worth of wares between the towns and yet I keep it up and have made excellent exercise out of it and kept my farm alive.
I often go to the local bar every sunday and friday to do some singing, it's great fun and the crowd love my voice for some reason, though I sure don't see why. It does give me a chance to get to know my fellow farmers, some outsiders from outside the country and the locals. They are a nice bounce, sometimes they help me out with the farm when they got the time, but they have their own things to handle, and I, if anyone. understand that very well.
But things are getting out of hand with the economical crisis in the world, things are starting to look grim for me and this beautiful farm of mine. I have to get the process of the farm back up to keep out of the red zone, I need to get help with the farm. So I posted an advertisement on the internet for someone to help me with the farm. A week after posted the Ad I got a phone call from a woman interested in the job and she would be coming over to the farm sometime during the start of the next week, and now the next wek has started and I am hoping to see her soon.
-The advertisement-
I am Jake Blackmane, owner of a large farming business in southern Texas, I work alone at my farm and it has cut into my production, so I will need someone who can help me out in handling the farm. There's no need for any heavy jobs like lifting or pushing, I handle those, no I want someone to handle the easier duties like feeding the animals, picking the eggs, milking the cows and such things. If needed I can allow you to live in one of my rooms at the farms if you have no place to stay, and I also supply with food, as long as you supply part of the shopping bill for some of the wares I have to buy, as I get the majority of my wares from the farm I rarely shop. If interested, call 555-251-152, and inform me when you can come, the address is Stormhoove Road 34, there's a large sign hanging over the drive way to the farm's main house, it is in the shape of a hoof with lightning arching through it with the word Stormhoove Farm written in bolt blue color.

IC POST
It was a regular thursday, I wake up 4 AM to feed the animals, then I mock the stables, pick up the morning eggs, milk the cows, help the horses to get some exercise, dig up the fresh vegetables in the green house and the fields before planting new ones. I am currently dressed in a pair of shorts, it is too warm today to wear a shirt or jacket, I am currently using the black smith to shape some metal into horse shoes for some of the younger mares and stallions who will be reaching the fertile age soon, I hope to get at least fifty more foals by the end of the next year.
Then I hear a car coming up the drive way and exit the black smith, cleaning off my hands on a piece of rag, I then notice that one of the fence's poles were rotten straight through, so as the car drived up the long drive in I pulled out the rotten piece of wood and with a large metal pole, I was gradually replacing the fence with metal as to keep it from rotting all the time, and hammered it into place as the car pulled to a stop by the small parking lot my father had made for guests with cars, as I spiked the new metal pole into place, and put the metal wire that held the fence together around it before hammering it to the spot with some nails, I caught the scent of lavender and sunflowers, very country like smell, I liked it.
