Probably because, besides the afore mentioned aspect of D/s, people who are looking for a D/s relationship are going to expect the ad to be in the BDSM section of personals, not the general section.

People looking in this area of personals are probably not looking for what you suggest -- maybe you should try putting your ad on the section of the Lit boards that are designed for this type of ad.
