How do you feel about that? He has no real mandate, his only purpose for being is that, I'm not Trump. He has no vision for the future, hell, he won't be in it.

So, he's not Trump. What is he? An AOC surrogate? the old guard? He offered no change and he has been neutered by a strengthened Republican Congress. No transformational change is possible, so what is he there for? to rock the boat, or to not be Trump?

Even in [political] death, the specter looms...

Will the next election be a scramble, or will Harris have assumed the driver's seat by then?

There are no answers to rhetorical questions. Trump is no longer the issue. If Trump is your goto answer, then you are saying what I am saying, but only trying to remain in opposition. Joe was not elected "for" something, he was elected to "oppose" something. He has fulfilled his entire purpose. Now he's a sock-puppet looking for a hand...

... or, maybe the hand is already there. ;) ;)

Delusional as ever.

The account name changes but the delusion remains.

Do you ever get tired of being banned?

???? ????

Is being obtuse your false sense of pride? The stupid are often like that, so self-assured, after all, no one else will assure them of their "brilliance."

Now, back to Biden. Assuredly, he will make it the four years. He now has the best medical staff on hand to assure us of his longevity, but you you truly believe that he has eight years of the hardest job imaginable in him? Perhaps he will just be a figurehead and be allowed ample time to rest in his basement (scratch that, the White House basement; do they still have a bowling alley?) waiting to be trotted out when an appearance is required, a speech needed, a legislative effort to be defeated...

One thing is absolutely assured: Beau will get his contracts. Even his grandchildren will be taken care of in perpetuity (if the cash is handled properly in trusts that dole out the benefits on a "conservative" basis).

Both candidates in this election's strategy was to point at the other and say "I'm not as bad as that guy".

When asked what he'd plan on doing in his second term in an interview all Trump could say was cutting the capital gains tax before quickly segueing to one of his signature rants about how Biden was a socialist puppet.

More tax cuts for rich people...no thank you....not something I'll vote for.

AOC surrogate...pffft please. That's the stupidest line of attack on Biden possible. He won the democratic primary by winning over the neoliberal corporatists and crushing the "Radical left" He doesn't owe anything to them. He'll go right on patting AOC on the head and ignoring everything she wants from him. He is not a puppet to her or Bernie Sanders or Antifa and any Rep. strategist that advised Trump to run that strategy should be laughed out of Washington for their stupidity.

The best strategy against Biden was for Trump to run the same playbook he did against Hillary. Stress time and again that Biden was a neoliberal responsible for the gutting of manufacturing jobs in America, and reinstating the unfair trade relation with China. Not the socialist puppet bullshit he went with.

Will the next election be a scramble, or will Harris have assumed the driver's seat by then?

Don't know about 2024, but in the mean time Mitch McConnell and the republicans will play the same playbook they did when Obama was office obstruct anything and everything from getting accomplished just on the principle that it'd make Biden look good and bellyache about the debt and deficit again.

Funny how they only get concerned about the deficit when democrats sit in the oval office.

But it will work though. In 2022 I foresee the Republican's taking more of the senate and taking back the house because of the stalemate and how galvanizing Trump's loss will be to the base.

From that point on becomes a little too hard to tell how it will pan out for 2024.

Kamala Harris will be your president by 2022. Biden will become to ill/mentally degraded or the stuff on that laptop Gulliani has will destroy him, either way he won't see out a full term. The Democratic party know this, it's why they've warmed up the 25th amendment.

What laptop stuff, exactly? Is there damning evidence that Giuliani didn’t want public before the election?

He won the primary by being the candidate the Party decided was "most electable."
That was based on his tie to Obama, nothing more, nothing less. He is a surrogate.

This will take a year or so to become clear,
but the Democrats want control of the office.
He will not be his own man, he will not be Trump,
he will be nothing more than a conduit for Progressive America,
otherwise, they would have cobbled together the same coalition around another candidate
because the entire purpose of this election cycle was not to advance any policy or ideology
but to remove Trump from office and clear the decks for the return and now he's gone and Biden is occupying a political vacuum.

What was his mandate? Why was he elected? Both of those questions have been answered and are now moot. What is he going to preside over? A Nation he is in charge of? A Party he is in charge of? Or, is he all but a potted plant with the real decisions being made outside of his control? Are the Progressives going to quietly sit by and let him pander to the Republicans who, in effect, control what comes out of Congress? Remember, they lost seats...

They are ruthless enough to pull that trigger.

She would be "HISTORIC!"

Right? The snowflakes are going to cry big time once Biden opens investigations on the corrupt trump family.

Laptop...lmao. what a dumbass!

^^^^sore loser :)

I would take a "janitor" President or a disabled President over trump any day.

I didn't vote for Trump four yers ago.
Given a second chance, I didn't vote for Trump again.

My preferred candidate never wins because too many shallow thinkers
have locked themselves into a purely binary choice and
make that choice in the most shallow
black hat-white hat fashion.

I wear the white hat
ergo, you wear the black hat.

So, you are as wrong as wrong can be.
I'm just commenting on what has transpired - dispassionately so.

For arguments sake, suppose the Trump family are "corrupt". It would be an outrage if they were investigated when the Biden, Clinton and Bush families are not investigated for their clear and obvious corruption.

None of them are going to turn on each other.
They all know where all of the skeletons are buried...

The only people burned by these types of corruption hunts are in middle-management.

Take Lois Lerner, for example.
