Anthony Fern was an otaku. Specifically, he was a fan of YuGiOh. He had most of the cards, and all of the merchandise. He was only missing one card, and had been looking for it everywhere. The Dark Magician Girl card. He had run all over town, visited dozens of card shops. He had wasted three days, but had finally found the card in a shop covered in arcana and similar merchandise. Strangely enough, the old woman who owned the shop had refused his money, and simply given him the card. She told him to take good care of the card, referring to it as her. He shrugged, then headed for home. Once there, he immediately ran upstairs, and collapsed onto his bed, studying the card. Once he had memorized every line of the image, he set the card down on his stand, and fell asleep. He dreamed of the Dark Magician Girl herself, and woke up early, almost startled awake. He had the sudden thought that someone had nuzzled him slightly.

Blinking lightly, as if waking up from dream, the girl from the card, known as Dark Magian Girl rises up from the card itself. She looks around her surroundings, and realizes not in Eygpt anymore. She panics for a moment. She sees a boy sleeping. She starts to shake him and yelling at him in acient Egyptain.

Anthony blinked, sitting up. He looked around, confused. He heard someone speaking, and couldn't figure out who, until he saw someone shaking him. He was confused again, when he realized she was dressed like the Dark Magician Girl. He looked her up and down, then sighed, and put a hand over her mouth. "Not so loud."

The girl blinks agian, unable to understand the strange langue she is hearing. Annoyed she once agian tries explain her sititutation. The last thing she remebers was being in Egypt helping defend the Pharoh's kingdom agianst a rogue preist trying to overthrow the Pharoh, but this place looks nothing like the palace walls. not even the palace itself. She has no clue where she is. She wonders if the boy sitting on the bed has anything to do wiith her strange circumstance.

Anthony raised an eyebrow, then sighed. He started to get out of bed. He sighed again, and stretched. He headed into the bathroom, not expecting her to follow him, and started stripping. He hadn't meant to fall asleep in his clothes, but it had happened anyways. He turned on the shower, then tugged his shirt over his head, and tossed it into a hamper. Then he followed it with his pants, boxers, and socks. Finally nude, he studied himself in the mirror. He shook his head, then started to climb into the shower when he heard a noise behind him.

The girl amazed of how different the world was around her. She decided to follow the boy, for he must have some idea of whats going on. What she was about to see, she did not expect. She followed him into a small room only to find him completly naked. She shreiked and tripped over a pile of clothes.

Anthony blinked, and slowly turned to look at her. She had fallen onto her arse, landing in a pile of clothes. He sighed, then shook his head. He held his hand out to her, to help her up. He spoke calmly and reassuringly. He tried a few languages he knew to try to communicate with her, starting with Japanese and ending with Hebrew.

Annoyed with the communication gap. She holds her hand up to silence him for a moment looking for her staff. She picks it up and waves it through the air and says a spell. There is a flash of light, then she blinks looking at the boy. She goes to say something, which comes out to be english out of her mouth this time.

"Did that work? Can you understand me now?"

Anthony blinked, then smiled. "I'm Anthony. You're in my home. I was just about to take a shower. I dunno who put you up to this, but you might as well hurt them later. My friends seem to be intent on getting me laid."

The girl stared at him for a moment taking in all he had told her. She was more confued as ever.

"You are not responisble for taking me from my home and teleporting me to this strange place? You do not work for the ex-high preist Kiabatu? You must for you are the only one here. Don't lie to me. Must be here to keep me in the altenate dimention prison is that your mission? Only if Arkan was here, he could get me out for my magic isn't strong enough yet."

Anthony raised an eyebrow, then sighed. She was really milking the Dark Magician Girl persona. "Look, go home and stay there. And tell my friends that if I get my hands on them, they'll wish they'd stayed out of it." He was about to say something else, when he looked over her shoulder and noticed the card was missing. He pushed past her, walking over to the desk he had set it on, then looked around it. The card was nowhere in sight. He growled, and sat down on the bed. "That card was priceless."

She followed him as he started going through a pile of stiff paper looking parchments. After he puts them down, she picks them up and looks at the first one. She saw it was the Blue Eyes White Dragon. She shreiked and dropped the deck and they spilt onto the floor.

"You must be working with Kiabatu. How else would you have a summoning parchment of that terrible dragon. Only Kiabatu and those that serve under him dare use such a terrible dragon for such destruction."

She pionts at the card daring not to touch it.

"Only if Arkan was here."

She begains to weep.

Anthony raised an eyebrow, then sighed. He picked up the cards, and rearranged them. He set them down in a small box. Then he looked at her, confused. "Summoning what? These are collectible cards, from a game." He looked at her, studying her in her entirety. Whoever had put her up to this had made her look exactly like the character. Her long hair hung free under a slightly curling pointed hat, a short dress of sorts revealing her large breasts, and long, bare legs leading down to boots. She even carried a staff just like the one the Dark Magician Girl carried. He decided to ask her name. "What's your name? And who put you up to pretending to be the Dark Magician Girl? Better yet, what happened to the Dark Magician Girl card I just bought yesterday?"

"My name is Tul'ry. What is this Dark Magian Girl you speak of? I have no idea of what you are talking about. And if you didn't know, summoning parchments are parchments used to hold in creatureds or people that are sealed to them. It can be quiet a conveint way to have an instant army when a suprise attack rise or a way to capture and store destrutive creatures like that terrible white dragon with the blue eyes you have. But of course being a servent of Kaibatu you already knew that."

She says while eyeing the box he put his deck in.

Anthony sighed again. This girl was nuts, he decided. "I dunno who this Kaibatu is, but he probably only exists in your mind. I collect YuGi Oh cards. It's a game about summoned creatures, but it's just that. A game, not real, pretend. It's also an anime about the cards, and some guy named Yami who inhabits the body of a kid named Yugi Moto. But again, it's all fiction." He stretched, then stood up again, and started for the bathroom. "If you're going to stay up here, you might as well join me in the shower."

She was till confused but one name popped out and registered in head.

"Yami? How dare you tratior call the Pharoh by his first name."

She takes her staff and points it right at him.

"What have you done to the Pharoh. If something bad has happened to him, surely you will suffer."

Anthony raised an eyebrow, then started laughing. "You're really milking the Dark Magician Girl persona. Like I said, it's FICTION. The fantasy of some poor writer's mind. None of these things ever really existed." He stepped around her, then headed into the bathroom, leaving her to let herself out of the house.

She was getting annoyed and frustrated with this boy not beliving her.

"For the last time. I have no idea who this Dark Magain Girl is?"

She sighed in he frustraion and decides to try to prove to him her story. She waves her staff says a chant in Egyptain and out her staff shoots a an energy blast. Hoping that will prove she not leing

Anthony was already in the bathroom again. He didn't hear her as he turned on the shower. He stretched, then sighed, as he had gotten aroused from looking at her body barely covered by her outfit. Crazy she might have been, but she was hot. He ducked his head back into the bedroom. "Getting in the shower with me, or going home?"

"Home? How can I go home when I don't even know where I'm being held?"

She sits in the corner and start to sob wildly as the boy just ingores her.

"Oh Arkan where are you? I need you!"

Anthony raised an eyebrow, then shook his head, and ducked back into the bathroom. He climbed into the shower, and started to wash his hair and body. He left it up to her what she would do with herself, and spent about twenty minutes cleaning up. Last but not least, he shaved and brushed his teeth. Then he ran a comb through his hair, and checked himself in the mirror. Finally he walked back out into the bedroom, seeing her still sitting there. She seemed almost lost and confused. He shook his head, and then pulled out a pair of jeans and a tee shirt, then a pair of boxers and some socks. He quickly dressed, and then looked at her again. He walked over to her, and knelt down in front of her. "Still playing the Dark Magician Girl, or are you ready to tell me which one of my friends put you up to the joke?"

Tul'ry lifts her head out her lap, tears in her eyes.

"I told you my name is Tul'ry and I have no idea how I got here. Last thing I remeber before waking up her was I was outside the city walls helping the army defend the city from Kaibatu. The sky darkened and in a flash of light I was here. Please just kill me if that your intend. Please get it over with quickly."

She then curls up back into a ball again.

Anthony sighed, then picked up a magazine. He flipped through it for a few moments, then showed her a picture of the card that he was talking about. "The Dark Magician Girl. Really a fanservice card, a way to get teenage guys to play the game. It was also the last card I needed to complete my collection. These things are massproduced. They're just cards, a game. There was no Yami, there was no High Priest. Kaiba and Yugi were ficticious characters, and the cards are all imaginary monsters. So what are we going to do now? I could let you stay with me, but I'm a little leery of letting someone crazy enough to fall into the Dark Magician Girl persona so fully stay in my house. It would make me worried about getting killed in my sleep."

She stared at the picture that was spose to be her, she looked at herself in the mirrior, then at the picture. She found this mind blowing, she continued to flip through the magizine reconizing some of the images, comes across a picture of the Dark Magcian, and shreiks.

"ARKAN! What have you done to Arkan?"

She picks up her staff and shoves it into his chest charging it with highly concertratedengery.

"You tell me what you did with Arkan and free us along with all your other prisoner you have."

She is seething as she glares at him.

Anthony sighed, then pushed her backwards, causing her to fall onto the bed, her staff falling to the floor behind her. He looked her in the eyes calmly, then shook his head. "Man, you're thick. It's a GAME. None of the characters are real. That's a nice trick with the staff, must be some highend electronics in it. But I don't buy it. Even if it were at one time based on real events, the pharaohs haven't ruled Egypt in almost five thousand years."
