I remember reading a story where a brother gets in trouble for something his sister did. He snaps and essentially disconnects emotionally with his entire family, and leaves as soon as he turns 18 by going into the army or navy, with his entire family super emotional, especially his sister, and he just brushes them off. Eventually he comes back because someone in his family is passing away and realized his sister has been in love with him for a long time, and it goes from there. It wasn’t parsed out into a part 1 part 2 type thing, if that helps.
On the other hand, any suggestions around the same vein would be great. I love stories where the guy gets angry at something (cheating being the main issue I’ve seen), leaves, and comes back at a later point in time afterwards and they reconcile. Not quite a BTB, but not a RAAC either. Any suggestions?
