I wanted to come back and give a status report on a story of mine the SDC worked over back in August. Here's a link to the thread for: A Special Christmas Present http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=534911 It's a "sweet" M/F love story. After those strong enough of stomach to finish the dang thing had made their suggestions, and relevant changes had been implimented, the thread was allowed to slide on down the line.

Filled with high hopes, I submitted it to Phaze for their seasonal anthology. The Phaze folks said they'd pass.

Next came Freya's Bower which had a later deadline. Strange to say, they also declined the honor of using my pitiful prose. However, the editor did look over my blog and asked to see the manuscript of my second novel. No word yet, but at least the short story submission wasn't a total waste of tiime.

It being October, I'd given up on finding the story a home this year. Then I learned about a new e-pub called Eternal Press which was still open to submissions for their holiday anthology. So to cut to the chase, I submitted and they accepted. A piece of cake.

My thanks to everyonne at the SDC who helped turn my tawdry little torrid tale into something at least semi-readable.

Aw, great news! The credit is entirely yours, of course, but it's cool to hear we've been even of marginal help. Congratulations, and may the further sales be many and less stressful!

I don't think I contributed in any way, but I'm very happy for you.

Thanks for the happiness, BT. :rose:

Everyone gets dumped on now and then for things they didn't do. Enjoy being on the other side of the coin for a change.
