Hi everyone.

I haven't been around in quite a while, I know. I hope everyone's been well.

Some of you may remember that one of my last postings was to talk about my breast cancer diagnosis. I meant to come back with updates and unfortunately I didn't, so here's the status.

Last June I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my right breast. In August I had a mastectomy done as well as beginning reconstruction on the right side. It was a little rough but went well, and further examination showed nothing had spread, and so I was incredibly fortunate and didn't need chemo or radiation therapy.

Next step was in February, when I had a permanent implant put in on the right. That was easier -- yay for outpatient surgery!

Lastly I am going in tomorrow for nipple reconstruction, which I'm told will be a fairly quick procedure and also outpatient. If things stick to schedule, I can go and be back before the kids are home from school.

Thanks to all of you for being so supportive when I did post, and I'm sorry I didn't come back sooner for an update. There were lots of little reasons that added up to me not checking in, ranging from a couple of computer glitches to a lack of writing and all of that.

I keep hoping/thinking I'll get back to writing and I keep meaning to. I'll make an effort to come back here more for inspiration if nothing else. :)

You have been missed. :rose::kiss:

Sorry about all the problems but it sounds like you are getting it all back together. That is all good. The other good part is, look at how much you have learned about yourself and all the things others have gone through. There should be plot bunny maternal knee deep.

Come by the coffee shop. All your coffee is on me. Uh, not literally but... That might be fun also. ;)

Good to hear you're recovering well. Looking forward to your next update.

Hey there PL! I was just wondering about you a few days ago. Good to hear things are on the mend.

What don't kill you makes you stronger. Good news for sure. JBJ

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I am off soon to have this done.

So far the most annoying part is either not eating/drinking since midnight, or having them push the timing back twice already this morning.

Wow! Sorry to hear, but now glad to know you are okay and getting better. Well wishes to you. :rose:

Hello again.

The surgery went well, although coming out of it wasn't fun. It seems I don't do anesthesia well and I guess they didn't give me enough anti-nausea meds, but I managed.

I rested and slept and feel pretty good so far today but I think I'll be cutting back on my Pokémon Go and Jurassic World Alive playing time.

Thanks again for all the good wishes. They are much appreciated. :rose:

Happy to see you back and on the mend, dear Lady. I do hope you'll show us the reconstruction when you're all healed; this still is Literotica, you know. ;)

A big hug and that's all such good news. Look forward to seeing you back here now.
