A BEAUTY Of A Sweep!

YES!!! American Beauty did exactly what I thought it would do - swept the Oscars! God, I have never, in my entire life, been so moved by a film. I saw myself in Lester Burnham (played by Kevin Spacey, who is a God) throughout this movie... I lusted after my son's friend, who I began buying my bud from after having bed him - I hadn't smoked weed since I was 18, and the thought of having an affair had never, till I laid eyes on that boy, crossed my mind... I would drive through fast food joints while smoking my joints... I began working out, losing 30 pounds and feeling better than ever... I quit my job after putting my bitch of a boss in her place, getting high-fives and cheers from my co-workers on my way out the door... I coined Lester's phrase, "I feel like I just woke up after 38 years of sleep", probably about the time Alan Ball was writing this magnificent script. If you haven't yet seen this movie, and you want a peek into the mind of EOD, head to your nearest theater.

As Lester said about himself, and as I am saying about this movie: It RULES!

Eve, I also loved it. Definately the best movie that I have seen this year. And you know what....I can actually imagine you in that kind of role *smiles at you*
