Hello all. I'm currently writing a BDSM story involving a young girl (18 of course) who is basically sold to a sexy, sadistic, rich stranger after her father looses a bet. She goes to live with the stranger and at first hates and fears him, because she stumbles in on him Dom-ing a slave and is terrified but titillated at the same time. Eventually she warms up to him, and allows herself to be the sub to his Dom, thereby discovering the beauty of sumbission. I realized about halfway through writing this that it is really very similar to the original fairytale of Beauty and the Beast (In the original, her dad promises Beauty to the Beast in exchange for his own life) So, I was wondering if people think it would be fun for me to emphasize the fairytale themes of the story (I.E.: throw in some more aspects of the original tale). Or, should I keep the fairytale references to a minimum, just a dash of flavor to a BDSM tale? I'd love to hear some opinions.
