The first day of August, a most august day,
Sees our friend turns 60, like minutes in the hour,
For it marks the birth of a God of roleplay,
Time gave him wisdom, and with wisdom comes power.

You may find him baking, re-modelling and building,
None can deny he's good with his hands,
These are just three of the talents our friend is skilled in,
So we gather to praise him as friends and as fans.

He is the man with the huge 18 wheeler,
A juggernautically monstrous big- rig,
Which he handles with ease like a true wheeler-dealer,
The ladies exclaim "Oh my God, it's so big!".

A builder, a baker, a hero, a trucker,

though you have kept within the rhyme-schme, and each line's roughly 4 beats, it'll need a little work to clean up your iambic pentameter if you want to classify this as a shakespearean sonnet
