SoCal....up here in the coastal north lands I still got moss/lichen growing on the dash of my car, and about 10 acres of moss slab in the front yard because it's cool and wet most of the year...when the ferns, moss and forest die off, I'll freak. Till then the raging rapids and water literally pouring out of the face of the mountains and springs has me convinced I'm not in a desert and I don't think desert conditions are likely to happen in the PNW for quite some time.

This reminds me of when I was bitching to my boyfriend once about trees.
