When World War Three Starts, and the Bombs are dropped, the only creatures to survive will be cockroaches and Leni Riefenstahl.

Who is Leni Reefenwhatchoosaid?

That cockroach thing... says a lot don't it?

From Britannica.com:

German motion-picture dire photographer who is best known for her documentary films of the 1930s dramatizing the power and pageantry of the Nazi movement.

From IMDB.com:

It was her work on "Triumph of the Will", a documentary about Adolf Hitler, that would come back to haunt her after the atrocities of WWII. Despite her protests to the contrary, Riefenstahl was considered an intricate part of the Third Reich's propaganda machine. Castigated, she has not made a movie in the past 50 years.

She is still alive, at 99 years of age. (She turned 99 yesterday)

She was also the Director of the...

film of the 1936 Olympics held in Berlin. You know the one showing Jesse Owen's triumphs.

Although one of Hitler's favourites her brilliance in the field of moving pictures allowed her to get away with a lot a lesser person could never have.

Hence those shots of Jesse Owens winning his finals.

She also directed ground breaking movies of the Nubian tribesmen in Southern Sudan.

There was always a question over whether she was a Nazi or not but most agree she was the European film director of her day.
