Bombshell lawsuit depicts Trump family as ‘a racketeering enterprise that defrauded thousands of people’: NYT

A massive 160-page complaint filed in federal court in Manhattan this week alleges that the entire Trump family has for years engaged in fraud intended to rip off unsophisticated investors.

The New York Times reports that the complaint “alleges that Mr. Trump and his family received secret payments from three business entities in exchange for promoting them as legitimate opportunities, when in reality they were get-rich-quick schemes that harmed investors, many of whom were unsophisticated and struggling financially.”

If this has been going on so long, why hasn't the Law been enforced long ago?

Exclusive: Trump targeting birthright citizenship with executive order

President Trump plans to sign an executive order that would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on U.S. soil, he said yesterday in an exclusive interview for "Axios on HBO," a new four-part documentary news series debuting on HBO this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Why it matters: This would be the most dramatic move yet in Trump's hard-line immigration campaign, this time targeting "anchor babies" and "chain migration." And it will set off another standoff with the courts, as Trump’s power to do this through executive action is debatable, to say the least.

Trump told "Axios on HBO" that he has run the idea of ending birthright citizenship by his counsel and plans to proceed with the highly controversial move, which certainly will face legal challenges.

"It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don't," Trump said, declaring he can do it by executive order.
When told that's very much in dispute, Trump replied: "You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order."

CNN’s Jake Tapper warns that Trump evoking birthright citizenship is just a ‘stunt to stir up his base’

With the unfolding and mourning of a violent week in America, President Donald Trump ripped a page out of his playbook to distract America.

On Tuesday, CNN’s Jake Tapper slammed the president for his assertion that he can end birthright citizenship.

WATCH: Trump’s motorcade forced to turn around after thousands of protesters flood Pittsburgh streets

Go home Ass hole!

On Tuesday, despite people’s wishes, President Donald Trump traveled to Pittsburgh to pay his respects to the lives lost in the Synagogue massacre.

During CNN’s Jake Tapper Tuesday show, national correspondent Miguel Marquez said that he was shocked at how ‘how big’ and ‘how quickly’ the protest against Trump’s visit grew.

According to Marquez, there are two different protests taking place. Marquez said that protest was not planned 24 hours ago. The Tweets below illustrate how big the protest against Trump’s visit truly is.

Top WH official tells me #PA #GovTomWolf is “weak” for refusing to appear in #Pittsburgh with @realDonaldTrump

. But Wolf and other Dems declined in tandem. So did every Republican WH asked. no one in either party wanted to barge into town with Trump, especially during funerals

BTW, in @realDonaldTrump lexicon, someone is “weak” if they refuse to humiliate themselves in his service

I get a kick out of the foolishness of the left. Tell me are you willing to give up your home and job to illegals? You don't see any of the Democratic fat cats giving their property over to tent cities or willing to give jobs (while firing Americans) to people who are either paid or come here as slaves of the party.

You are willing to increase your taxes to 90% like in China and elsewhere for the government to run slum homes for the people (look at Cuba)?

Some how you think you will not be effected by the corruption and crimes and gangs being sent across the border and the violence created by the party leaders. Maybe you live in hole in the ground, but you have to come up some time and face the mess you are creating. You have all ready given up your freedom of the press, speech, education, religion, and safety. When you replace the police with dirty cops whose only job is to protect the leaders and not you or your family and a military who is not sworn to protect you from foreign and domestic enemies, but become those enemies, sooner of later you will end up like all the fools who "revolution" and brought such great people as Hitler, Lenin and Mao to power. They all thought the way you do that they would be taken care of by the state. They were. Shot. Why should you be any different?

NY Times columnist explains Trump’s downfall: President without shame, a party without spine and TV network without integrity

New York Times Opinion Columnist Thomas Friedman cited a letter from George Washington in an effort to remember a time when the president had moral character.

“I think you know, after 23 years of my writing this column, that I’m not lazy. I always try to come up with fresh ideas. Today, though, I am fresh out of fresh ideas. More than any time in my career, I think our country is in danger,” Friedman wrote.

“When a person is promoted to a top job in life, usually one of two things happen: He either grows or the swells — he either evolves and grows into that job or all of his worst instincts and habits become swollen and just expand over a wider field,” Friedman said. “I don’t have to tell you what happened with President Trump.”

He continued, “He is a shameless liar and an abusive bully — only now he is doing it from the bully pulpit of the presidency.”

“When you have a president without shame, backed by a party without a spine, amplified by a TV network without integrity, the reason is not an option and hope is not a strategy,” he said. “The only restraint on Trump is a lever of national power in the hands of the opposition party that can force some accountability.”

That about sums it up!:)

‘The president is self-destructing’ as news cycle threatens to generate blue wave

A wave of optimism reportedly swept the White House after the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, reports Vanity Fair. But that feeling was short lived.

According to the magazine, insiders say Trump has been frustrated by the current news cycle. After a week in which one of his supporters sent packages containing pipe bombs to his critics—and a virulent anti-Semite murdered 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh—the president appears to be alarmed at the prospect of Democrats sweeping Congress.

Bend over Donnie, the Big Blue Shaft is coming!:)

‘I want the f*ck out’: All of these top Trump officials are reportedly planning to abandon ship after the midterms

A recent report from Politico found that five Cabinet officials (Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Defense Secretary James Mattis, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen) were likely to leave the administration after the November election.

Get out while you can folks.

Nothing is going to get better’: Princeton history professor warns the midterms will bring out the worst in Trump — and the country

With the midterms now a week away and President Donald Trump staring down the risk of a crushing loss in the House, he appears to be panicking — and doing more and more Trumpian things, from deploying troops at the border to threatening to repeal the 14th Amendment. And all the while he continues to hold rallies where he charges people up with the same fiery rhetoric, stroking his own ego.

Trump may believe that these actions will excite his base and persuade them to turn out in greater numbers. But racially charged appeals to the far right look particularly irresponsible after a week of domestic terrorist attacks.

Speaking to MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on “Deadline: White House,” Princeton history professor and Center for African-American Studies chairman Eddie Glaude, Jr. blasted Trump for pouring gasoline on the nation’s tensions and expressed his fear that if Trump ends up losing — it’s only going to get worse.

Melania Trump mysteriously racked up $100K tab during 6-hour stay at Cairo hotel: report

According to a report at Vanity Fair, first lady Melania Trump’s sojourn to Africa included a $95,050 tab for hotel accommodations in Cairo even though the wife of Donald Trump was reportedly only there for six hours.

The first lady has already come under fire for her vacation wear which echoed colonial garb, and news of the exorbitant expenditure is sure to throw more fuel on the fire that her trip was less about her interest in Africa and more about a photo-op distraction from her husband’s troubles at home.
