Dear God I hope this thread doesn't piss people off like the other one did!!

I just received an email saying that, as a tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11, everyone who is driving a motor vehicle is asked to keep their lights on during the daylight hours. Please spread the word!!!

a nice gesture indeed, along with a mandatory 9 min 11 seconds of silence across the nation...something I am sure the hard left and/or the ACLU (yeah I know, one in the same) would fight in court.

LOL it might just be possible you aint as bad as I thought and vice versa...

that was just something that occured to me after reading about the headlights

I like the "lights on" idea. I remember driving in Dallas the morning that the first space shuttle went up (after the Challenger disaster). Everyone had their lights on that morning. It felt good.

Simple methods of respectful remembrance are best.

Just so long as everyone doesn't dial "9 1 1" on their telephones to show respect....... :p

You might just be right BBW. I just found another 9/11 thread, which mentions wearing red, white, and blue on that day. It also says that at noon people are asked to put their hand on their heart and say the pledge of allegience.

You've got some good ideas floating around!

But since I don't have a car, I'll definitely have to go with the "wearing our colors" idea....I don't know exactly how I'll commemorate 9-11, but I know of two things I would like to do:

Honor the victims somehow (especially a good friend I lost):rose:

and spend the day with as many friends and family as possible!

Jesus Christ.

It's organizations that allow you to be as "free" as you are. They keep the government from taking EVEN MORE away than they already have.

PS. That email circulated last year some time. It failed.

God your country is backward.

We have running lamps that go on all the time if it's kinda new.

Spinarooni, first of all, how queer to swipe your name from the most ridiculous act done in the WWE. Secondly, what in the blue hell are you talking about?

Unregistered, no we don't ordinarily drive with our lights on during the day. However, this doesn't mean that our country is backwards. Maybe yours is.

Texan, lmao @ calling 911

No, it's proven that is safer to drive with your headlights on during the day. Simple.

Don't even go there with me, Naughty but nice, I was making a joke...YOU on the other hand, should consider yourself lucky people even respond to your threads after your last fiasco. Dumb bitch.

Obviously you're ignorant on more than one level

A few things.
1. The spinaroonie is the greatest wrestling move in history, first perfected by Haystacks Calhoun, I believe.
2. I quoted the wrong BrokenBrainWave quote... thanks for alerting me for that.
3. We're backwards, headlights on is a whole lot safer.

Where exactly shouldn't I go? You're the one posting the lame response. As for my last thread, I've learned from that mistake, therefore, I'm not a dumb bitch. You don't know me, so why don't you keep your piehole shut!

LMAO, the greatest move in wrestling???? PALEEZ

The 'roonie is the epitomie of the pagentry and showboating, the display.

Without the roonie wrestling is just a deception of the public, but the spinaroonie makes the connection to the theatre roots of professional wrestling, making it what it it is.

Spinaroonnie, let's agree to disagree about the spinaroonnie being the greatest move in wrestling, ok?:D

Jesus NnN I thought I was easily angered but FUCK! I was all about agreeing with you right up to that point you jumped on Spin like a dingo on a baby.

Calm down! He wasn't even talking to you.

The lights thing is a great idea. I hope it works out.

Boneman, Spin is right about the ACLU. If they seem to go overboard sometimes it's tactic. Like bidding lower than you can afford to pay.

My headlights are on all the time. It doesn't seem to help my visibility, though. Morons pull out in front of me anyway.

Myself, I'm going to hoist a flag.

Pro wrestling ain't theater. Mime maybe, but not theater.

To have theatre you must have a space, an audience, and an actor. That's it.
