OOC: If your interested check the OOC forgive me though, it's a bit wordy.

IC: Ren: "So this is Flornce?" it looked like any otehr resonably sized town. Hard to beleave since the town was nearly burnt to the ground in the last war. Gilda had simply cought them by suprise I guess.

I walekd down the street my cloak hid my kensai from sight. But the double glaive on my back is sure to draw some atention. In a place like this people eitehr love weapons above all else or fear them endlessly. It all depends on wich side of the weapon their loved ones were ten years ago.

Foolish I would imagine. Any reasonable soldeir would be between 15 and 25. Ideally one should weight 20 years between wars to build up the fighting population. It's been 10 years. It'll be a while before eitehr side starts a war. Otherwise both kingdoms will take heavy casulties and any third party could come in and wipe them out. One should not fear their weapons.

I had turned into a dead end. At the end of the alley was the chared remains of a building. I looked it over. No one has moved the burnt wood. I supsoe nothing is usable.

I turned around and walked back out still trying to find the local black smith. Smiths a very wise people, every one with a broken tool stops in on them, many adventrues come by with tales of adventure. Not sure if the black smith really wants to here these boosts but it often roves a source of good fun one of the few I can get.

I found the smith after a long walk. I walked in and pulled out my kensai. "The chain here has a weak link. I could bend it back to shape but then it'd jsut risk my life. I'd like you to replace it."

A man walked in. 'Hey Robert. Theirs a rumor going around that Gilda has decleared war on us.' 'Why would they do that?' 'Something about a kidnapping.' Interesting story as always I supose this person got it from a local fool.

Sierra

Sierra looked up at her aunt Milerna as the pair stood on a cliff top high above the city of Flornce. Milerna had a gift for clairvoyance, which was why Sierra was visiting her.
"There's someone you should meet there," Milerna said, her voice a rumble. Milerna was a silver dragoness like her older brother Magnus, Sierra's father.
"Thank you, Aunt Milerna," Sierra said with a bow. "Is there anything you would like me to seek as I join the ranks of the humans of the realms?"
"Happiness," Milerna said with a smile. "I've enough riches to keep me happy right now. But I do worry about you- there is no other like you, you know."
"Don't remind me," Sierra said with a wry grin. She knew she was one of a kind- most elven priestesses would have died after mating a dragon. Not Sierra's mother, the loose woman had actually liked the dragon enough she stayed with him after the Beltane Ritual until her death a few years ago. Sierra placed a kiss on her aunts huge shoulder. "I shall see you again, adventure calls for now, Aunt-of-mine."
"Be safe and walk with the Skysinger," Milerna said by way of a blessing.
"And may he be with you as well," Sierra said, returning the dragonic blessing. She spoke Dragonic, Elvin, Dark Elvin, Common and fey fluently. Without further ado, she began hopping down the mountain, wings half furled to lighten her landings. She knew better then to glide into a settlement that she'd never been to before. A bit outside town she unfurled her wings, stretched them then folded them close to her body, draping a cloak over them, effectively hiding them along with her tail. She headed for the inn of the town, sure that whoever she was supposed to meet would end up there at some point or another.
Ordering an ale and a trencher of bison stew, she sat down to eat and await the one she should meet.

Ren

IC: I was geting tired of the gossip and in an effort to get the smith back on task I asked "How long will it take you to repair the kensai?" 'Ken what?' "Kensai, the chain?" 'Oh replaceing a link shouldn't take more then a ten minutes.' "Good, I can wait" 'Well I'm not going to get to it tonight.' "What?" 'Well I have other projects to do.'

At this point I had to wadger how much it was worth. I know I can fix a single chain link with a couple of good rocks and some heating I should be able to bend it back to shape in a few minutes myself. But the fact is I often find myself hanging from that chain, it just isn't safe.

"I'll be back tomorow. In the after noon. It had better be done." My voice was cold but not a trheat as more of an annoyed tone. I walked out of the smith and to the in to chek in for a night. Still it was barly noon. I need something to occupy my time. Damn 24 hours that is a long wait.

I walked slowly into the local inn, one of many. There was a group up at the front, people asking for help. I would check out a room when they were done. I calmly walked over to the table, this will be a dull day.

At the table their was a girl wearing a cloak. This is the summer and cloaks are quite hot especilly for the indoors. I wounder if she was trained to use it in combat just as I was. That or she is hideing the belly of a bastard child forming in her. No her stumac isn't big enough for that sort of thing. Prehaps she hides a sword or other weapon under their. Still weapons are almost becomeing more comon in the open. I supose she doesn't like to be thought of an armed woman. Only one way to find out.

"Why are you wearing that." I gestured to the cloak.

Sierra

"Why are you wearing that?"
She started, her glasses slipping a bit. She work dark blue tinted glasses to help hide the strangeness of her eyes. Also helped keep her eyes from getting to strained by daylight.
"Why am I wearing what?" she asked him back, puzzled. Sierra didn't quite care for his tone of voice- was a bit aloof. Do I sound that way, she wondered. Hope not- I'll have to ask someone.

Ren

IC: "Honestly? It's quite Hot out this time of year, I supose it's more comfortable at night and all but, is the Cloak to keep you warm? I mean their are otehr reasons to ware something like that right? But whats yours?"

Sierra

"Well you're awful forward" Sierra said with a scowl. She wondered if he was the one her aunt had spoken of. Might as well be- the rest of the yokules in here looked deathfully dull. He at least was kind of cute.
"If you wish to see why then come with me," she said, finishing the last of her ale and soup. The alcohol hadn't effected her- when one grows up drinking dragonic wine, no human beverage could make a difference. She paid her tab, nodded to the barkeep and walked out into the sunlight. Her hair spilled out behind her as she walked.

Ren

OOC: Prehaps we should start exploreing multiple characters, because with only two this will be quite dull.

IC: Being auflly forward? What is that supose to mean? She wouldn't think I'm hiting on her would she?
'If you wish to see then come with me.' She payed her tab afte seting down a glass. She didn't pay much so she couldn't of had much to drink but she does look ratehr light, and I bet she's not acustumed to drinking often. Prehaps it effected her more, then one would think.

She must be drunk. I fallowed her outside, slightly atracted by what might be hiden under the cloak, prehaps she has the wings of sucubus and plans to feed on my very soul! Or maybe she's goign to rob me. No I really only fallowed her to make sure no one takes advantage of her while she's drunk. I supose I was curious aswell.

Sierra

OOC- WHAT?!? Me drunk!?!! ROFLMAO

IC- He was following her as she lead the way outside town to the clearing where she'd landed earlier. "You might want to sit down."
After a moment for him to decide she whipped off the cloak and unfurled her wings, stretching them out in all thier dragonic glory. The noonday sun seemed to halo her long deep blue hair.
"This answer your question?"

Ren

OOC: Thanks I tried to be funny.

IC: I had fallowed her out into the woods. Okay she is odviosuly drunk and wants to screw me out here. That or she's going to suck my soul right out of my rib cage. Yea thats it. I smilled to myself. I supose I should do the polite thing and tell her tehirs no need to make love to me. I will have to part her down gently I don't want her to think she's ugly and kill herself, when she is quite odviously this drunk.

We were now in a clearing. She stood their looking at me and I sat down planing what to say. I guess I really don't think your right for me while your drunk seems polite enough, or will to a drinker like her.

'You might want to sit down' Yep so drunk she didn't even notice I was siting already. I watched her turn to face me, since she was looking the other way when I sat. She took her cloak off, and I closed my eyes so not to see what parts of her atnatomy she was revealing. 'Answer your question?'

"Please, I'm sure your nice and all when your sober, but you really shouldn't come onto me while one of use is drunk." yes that should be polite enough, I didn't even say she was the drunk one. I now looked upon her.

She's still fully cloathed? She was odviously confused by my reply. I glanced to the side and ntoiced a set of demonic wings. "She is a demon her to still my soul!" I began to get up and run in the otehr way. Suprised and started I triped over several times and yet she never took the chance to pull my soul out from behind. Once mroe on the ground I faced her tense but not nesacilly afraid, but more curious.

Sierra

Drunk?!? He thought I was drunk and coming onto him! Oh, the insufferalbe... why's he running away? A demon- where?
Sierra pulled out her sai, ready for battle, tail thrashing back and forth as she looked around. Seeing nothing in the clearing she looked back at the man on the ground and realized he was looking at her.
"You think I'm a demon?" she shook her head sadly. "I'm half elf half dragon, you idiot. And I could drink you under the table and then kick your drunk ass from here up the mountain and back."

Ren

IC: Half dragon? Well she looks more human like then I expected or I guess elf like. The half dragons I had seen, wich consits of one was covered in scales and had sharp claws. No her form really didn't look so bad. I wounder if it's the elven grace that makes her look rather nice.

"Okay I'm going to beleave you. Your to hot tempered to be demon. Besides you would of killed me by now." I looked her n the eye and stood up. "Whats your name half dragon. And I'd like to point out I didn't say you were drunk."

"I'm Sierra Drackus," she said with a mock bow. "Of the Mountains of Music Elves, daughter of the Silver Dragon Magnus. Who might you be?"
She looked him over once again- really was kind of cute, in that pale elvin way. She herself was too dark to be considered a normal elf- her skin was darkly tanned though still held silver glints to it, like gilted silver.
"What are you up to out here anyway?"

Ren

IC: "I am Ren. As you probably guessed when you saw my ears, I'm a lesser elf and have no Sir name." Lesser elves were originally made by the breeding of difrent elvish clans and some say even humans played a part. Oh well the result is that I am considered a lower class by most elves. Prehaps they should swallow their pride I may have less elven grace and age faster but I am still quite skilled.

"I wonder and little more. And you why are you here?" A silver dragon and a mystic elf? Strange fate formed this elf as well prehaps she will not be so quick to judge, it's not like I saw her dragon parts and started yelling demon help.... oh wait I guess I did. Well she has the right to judge now. "Specificly I came to have a tool repaired. My Kensai had a weak link."

Sierra

"Ah, makes sense," she said, tilting her head to the side. "I never got the point of the whole lesser elf thing. More then one reason I hang out more with dragons then the people of my mother. Anyway- I got sent down here to meet someone. I'm going to take a guess and say its you- Aunt Melerna does rather have a sense odd sense of humor in her predictions, though she's always right."
He looked puzzled again. "My father was a dragon, my mother was an elf. She died a few years back then my dad took me and his family raise me."

Ren

"Oh, raised by dragons. So does this mean your going to eat me? Because I will fight back agaisnt dragons, deamons are a bit harder to fight agaisnt you know." I smile. "Jokeing ofcoarse."

I walked over to her. "So um... what do you need me for?" This prediction buiness is allways tough, never can know the exact reason if it isn't given and even when it is one can still make false assumptions. "I supose you wish to stretch your wings for a little while."

OOC: Vix you think we should wait a day before starting with the kidnaping plot or do it now?

Sierra

Sierra chuckled at the small joke and her wings shook with her mirth. "Thanks- keeping them bunched up under that cloak gets a bit hot. There's a lot of blood vessals in my wings so the vent a lot of heat- which is good. Otherwise I start speaking in sparks."
She chuckled at his startled look thinking that he would be fun indeed. "So, you do much adventuring? I've traveled some, been sent on minor quests for my family for this or that gem from this or that secret place. I want to do something noteworthy though now. That people will say- hey its the dragon-elf Sierra. She did this nifty thing. Make sense?"

Ren

IC: I was siting with this dragon lady laughing and haveing a good time when my mood turned rather Sallem. 'I want to do something noteworthy though now. That people will say- hey its the dragon-elf Sierra. She did this nifty thing. Make sense?'

My face grew dark despite the bright light of day it seemed I lowered into the shadows and little more. "Thats rather sad. I'm surpsied one would choose such a life." I looked to the side my hair consiling part of my face.

"To be so famus as to be known so well. Thats a great goal and their a few of those people, but most die becomeing famous. Thats a tragic goal to die, even for a noble cause death seems so tragic especilly one as bright as you. To die so soon would be a waste."

threw my cloak the darkness seemed to grow and less light was cast upon me then before. I was now in sadness a feelign I knew all to well.

Sierra

"Why are you so sad?" Sierra asked, truely puzzled. She knew that some elves could be very racist- one of the main reasons she didn't like most of them. He seemed different though- of course he did, he was a halfbreed too. She smiled at the thought. "We're both halfbreeds out to make our way in the world. I want a grand adventure. I'm seeking something though I've yet to figure it out yet through my meditations. But everything in me is pushing for something new, something I've never done. And I dislike being feared- if I was well known people wouldn't hate me just because I'm half dragon."
She hadn't meant to say that much, it had just slipped out, Sierra's eyes far away on a scene that haunted her still late at night. A villiage of humans seeking a demon had found her one night. She'd barely escaped with her life though she bore a cross-shaped brand between her breasts now and for the rest of her life. They'd released her after she'd breathed fire and spoken to thier high priest in dragonic- demons being unable to speak the holy language of dragonic. "I know all to well how unaccepting some people can be."

Ren

IC: I stood there night falling upon us. "I'm sorry it seems you've had a rough past." I wasn't a half elf I was a lesser elf born from to lesser elven parents. There is no proof that any huamn is in my acnestory. I am jsut as liekly to be the result of an ancheint mixing of wood elves and high elves or prehaps even shadow elves. "The past seems so tragic doesn't it?"

I doubt we would have trouble handleing ourselves at night but still. I'd ratehr not tke life this night. "I supose we should now head back to the inn. What do you think?" I stared up to the moon it seemed like how I often found myself just sad and lonely, no reason to be but simply that way. Prehaps blameingthe past is an excuse but any reason seems to jsutify sadness, thats why it's such a strong emeotion.

Sierra

Sadness seemed to pour off of him in waves. What a sad and lonely life he must live, she mused. A brilliant idea came to her- she'd find some kind of adventure that he could accompany her on and while they were doing that she'd find a way to get him a perminant companion so he wasn't so alone! Two challanges in one. Sounded perfect.
"Very few nightwalkers scare me but its probably best to head back," Sierra said with a smile. After a few moments she asked, "Are you looking for a quest or something like that? I'm not very familiar with this country yet."

Ren

IC: "Really the night doesn't bring a chalange mroe of a nuscanse." I began walking to the town Sierra fallowing behind. Haveing to fight would be one of last things to do tonight, if I had my way.

'Are you looking for a quest or something like that? I'm not very familiar with this country yet.' I stoped still aways from the entrance to town. "I do what I can to survive. Some would call it questing I call it wandering." This place may not be around much longer. "It would seem the neighboring country has decleared war today. In a few days they will invade unless their Princess is released."

Sierra

"So thier princess was kinapped and now they're upset and will march under war banners unless she's returned?" Sierra's eyes grew wider. "That's awful. I like the dragon's method better- the one who stole the young dies, not the whole country. We can't let these good people go to war like that! What if we resqued the princess and brought her back? Then we'd both look good, there'd be no war, and hey we might get a reward too!"

Ren

IC: "I don't think it's as simple as you say. Geting a princess who is eassily recanised into the castle of this city would be hard to keep secret. No one knows that she is in the city. I would guess that she isn't in the city." I started to walk towards the town. "Besides I wouldn't help for fame or rewards. I do want I need to survive and I think with how mad Gilda is that we would be likely punished we were found with the princess."

I could hear Sierra stop behind me so I to stoped. "I'm not cold hearted but I simply do not see what good could come from this. Still you have as long as you want to convicne me otehr wise. I need to stay in town till I get more suplies.

Sierra

She couldn't achieve her goal if he was going to do this! Okay... how to convince him to help this princess. "Wouldn't you want someone to help you if you were kidnapped from your home as a little kid? I know I would."

Ren

IC: I stoped once more. "She's 16 and I know humans are very capable by that time. Still help would probably be welcomed. But I would hate myself if these people were to die for me. Wouldn't you?"

I continued down the raod and she continued her persasive practice. "Okay assumeing she is better off with help. How are we going to find her."

OOC:If you guessed I'm stalling for time you'd be right."
