These were actually found five years ago. Don't know why there's info out on them now. From here.
For scholars of faith and history, it is a treasure trove too precious for price.
This ancient collection of 70 tiny books, their lead pages bound with wire, could unlock some of the secrets of the earliest days of Christianity.

Academics are divided as to their authenticity but say that if verified, they could prove as pivotal as the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947.
Notice, by the way, that the article says they were found five years ago--but the owner says they've been in his family for 100 years :rolleyes:

Only if they disappear after they are transcribed, and go back to God.

I wonder why they are ringed on four sides? So the "Priest" can never be accused of misremembering the story?
