Several high profile Democrat politicians ignored guidance related to the Chinese coronavirus when it appeared to be personally convenient — a realization that comes as Democrat politicians, such as Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, attempt to limit gatherings in personal residences ahead of the holiday season.

Democrat politicians have stood united in criticizing the Trump administration’s response to the virus, accusing the president and his supporters of not taking it seriously, particularly when it comes to wearing a mask and avoiding unnecessary public gatherings. However, several of these same politicians have violated their own purported beliefs — and self-declared moral standing — by removing their masks and engaging with crowds, even in recent days. You lack objectivity. 7 democrats in senior leadership positions mandating their people shut down!! lock down!! shelter in place!! while they violate their own edics. Smells like hypocrisy of the highest order. Tens of thousands of republicans don't make policy, they're exercising their 1st amendment rights under the constitution, big difference!

Unethical **better than thou** behavior displayed by leadership, circumventing a policy mandate imposed by a leader on his/her constituents can't possibly expect obedience. Lead by example regardless of which party.

Not all US politicians are unethical like you would suggest!

But now Politico is reporting that California Medical Association officials — of all people — were among the guests seated with Newsom at the "opulent birthday dinner at the French Laundry restaurant this month." Sacré bleu!

CEO Dustin Corcoran and top CMA lobbyist Janus Norman were at the famous Napa fine-dining restaurant with the governor to celebrate the 50th birthday of lobbyist and longtime Newsom adviser Jason Kinney, a CMA representative told the outlet Wednesday morning.
