7/7 memorial

Let's not let the MJ memorial overshadow the 7/7 memorial that was unveiled today, in London's Hide Park, remembering the 52 people lost in the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

It is a fitting memorial...nicely done.

I remember this day so well, it was such a shock.

The sight of the double decker bus, gave me sleepness for a while

I am happy the memorial is now in place, how hard it is to lose someone in such a shocking way.

Yeah it was a strange time to live and work in London.

I worked a few yards from Kings Cross Station, where one of the bombs went off. I agree about the bus Shy...makes me shudder. So many of my friends and colleagues, live and work in the immediate vicinity. It was pretty scarey period.
