61 and 23

Um.. that would still be their business.
If the grandchildren didn't want to meet them, that would be sort of low, but that would be their business.

And what happens when they decide to get married. My father's new wife is MY age and that's plenty weird. I can't imagine what it would be like if she were younger.

What happens?
They get married.

If the worse thing to happen to your family is grandpa marries someone less then half his age you're pretty [bad word deleted]ing lucky

I liked the reply to a similar post...

...a few weeks ago.

It won't work because 61 doesn't go into 23!:D

hmm

I'm 21, My father is 50, and the bitch he's currently married to is 26. I thought it was a bit odd when they got married but hey he's a big boy can tie his shoes and everything and besides, at the time she made him happy.

You could lose control

I don't believe in sex past sixty, they should pull off the road!:p

How does everybody feel about a 62 year old woman and a 23 year old man? I don't remember which celebrity said this when asked what he thought about sex with a much older woman, but his reply was, "If she looks like your Grandma, that's just wrong. But if she looks like Tina Turner (mid-60's), then it's all good!"

At my tender young age of 57, I'd perhaps feel a twinge of envy, otherwise, it's their business.

I'd judge it rather inconsiderate for him to have kids with her because he's not likely to live much beyond their adolescence. I've learned how limiting age can be from my experiece with my granddaughter and I'm a few years younger than he. I don't have the stamina to keep up with her and I'm not nearly so involved with her as a father would be.

And to wilfully put kids in a situation where they are likely to lose their father at that tender an age I consider irresponsible.

Laurel,

Never actually said the word in chat Sat night. Lavender was lucky enough to be the recipient of Never's ire.

REALLY?

Wow. Very cool! We're all making an impression on her after all.

The funny part is that she missed it.
Why?
Because she was too busy writing up that she wanted me to say the word '[you know the word]'.
