dunno about some leaders, but there's a lot of encouragement for people to get their flu jabs by medical people and scientists on tv as well as posters all around in certain stores advertising the need to get them.

like viruses anywhere relying on social interaction to spread, social distancing and masks are the enemy.

In quite a number of years (more than 20, less than 120 ), the ONLY times I've ever gotten anything close to the flu was the few years I tried the shot. No shot, no sick. It may not be THE flu, may only be some other reaction, but I will never get another voluntarily.

There are also a small number of people who get killed by seat belts.

If you are one of the people who get sick from the flu shot, don't get it. At the same time, don't go around encouraging the vast majority of people who benefit from the shot to reject it just because of a few outliers.

The same goes for masks.

I don't know but I am getting my company supported and recommended flu shot within the next thirty days.

The flu shots are free here in Canada ( so is Covid-19 testing), and a multitude of locations to get them. I have had mine in the past, but not always. This year I will get one, this Thursday in fact is the date.
