Ah yes... 2019... the year that the Democratic Party foolishly attempted to use impeachment as a purely partisan political tactic to weak an American president that they COULDN'T defeat at the ballot box!

The problem, of course, being that they NEVER had a snowball's chance in hell of getting the U.S. Senate to play along, despite having SEVERAL members in that legislative body actually running to replace Trump as president! Senate "jurors" in the impeachment trial actually INCLUDED acknowledged Trump-haters like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, etc. etc. etc. - but Nancy Pelosi & the House Democrats were STILL unable to make a credible case!

THAT'S how you show the world (and your own nation) just how WEAK your party is! You impeach a president and then you quickly lose interest! It's like a prosecutor adamantly claiming that somebody is a clear-&-present-danger to the community, and then saying: "never mind!" You lose all credibility & support.
