Colleen Thomas said:No, no.no.no. they need to go to prison. Preferably with a few nice men who will show them the error in thinking rapeing someone is funny.

I only hope their punishment in this life, whatever it turns out to be (in addition to the punishment they are sure to face in the legal system) will fit the crime.

I don't want them dead. I want them to walk into my rugby club whilst the entire pack is there. It's at times like this that I'm glad I believe in an afterlife.

R. Richard said:I do not believe that punishment is proper here.
What is needed here is to have the rapists repeat, under court order, each of the previous grades to learn proper behavior. They should not be allowed to skip past any part of the previous grades, but should be required to attend each and every class with proper behavior. At the end of each repeated class day they should be kept after school until they have completed a minimum one page original theme about what they have learned that day. Too much similarity to previous "What I Have Learned" themes means they will be kept until a proper, original theme has been produced; this last may become a life sentence in itself.
Since they have already received their free trip through the earlier grades, their parents will pay the ENTIRE cost of the repeats.
Education, not punishment!
Dranoel said:You want to teach these boys a lesson? I want to teah EVERY boy a lesson; that this kind of behavior cannot and WILL not be tolerated. I say cut their balls off, freeze dry them, encase them in acryllic and make them wear them on a chain around their neck for the rest of their lives.

I know it's been said of every generation by those older, but it's truly scary to think that something like that circulated around an entire school, and no one said anything.
LadyJeanne said:Doesn't anyone teach their kids about right and wrong anymore?
And what about that girl's family? Even if she didn't speak up, surely a parent would have noticed a change in the behavior of an 11 year old who had not only been raped, but had also suffered for two months as they passed that video around!
I can't even begin to understand what was going on.
Kassiana said:At the risk of interfering with some revenge fantasies here, castration just won't work to deter a rapist, guys. If they don't have equipment, they just use objects instead. A woman's just as much raped if her rapist uses a broom handle instead of a cock.
