What disgusts me the most is that they sent the video of them raping this girl to their mates, who sent it to their mates and it went around the entire school.

It's not just them that's disgusting, it's every single person who saw it and, not only did not report it, but they passed it on.

I have no doubt that they will recieve minimal sentences due to their being only 14 and that they will walk out of this with no major blot on their lives.

I don't want them dead. I want them to walk into my rugby club whilst the entire pack is there. It's at times like this that I'm glad I believe in an afterlife.

Earl, in addition to any legal punishment, what I meant was that I believe in Karma -- what goes around comes around -- and I hope that whatever punishment they receive in this life for what they have done fits the crime.

They should not be allowed to skip past any part of the previous grades, but should be required to attend each and every class with proper behavior. At the end of each repeated class day they should be kept after school until they have completed a minimum one page original theme about what they have learned that day. Too much similarity to previous "What I Have Learned" themes means they will be kept until a proper, original theme has been produced; this last may become a life sentence in itself.

Since they have already received their free trip through the earlier grades, their parents will pay the ENTIRE cost of the repeats.

I know it's been said of every generation by those older, but it's truly scary to think that something like that circulated around an entire school, and no one said anything.

I agree with Cloudy. Not only has the poor child got the trauma of the actual rape, but the horror and humliation of knowing that dozens of people in her school were shown and watched this as a form of entertainment.

Jeanne: When I was 17, there was a vicious rumour that circulated about me. It involved faked documents linking me to some very socially unacceptable fantasies and had my first ever Lit story (under another nom-de-plume) in it. I suffered for two weeks with people talking behind my back, reading things about me and giggling and with being almost truly alone in the school. Thankfully I was reprieved by general consensus being that I was too nice for any of that stuff to be attributed to me and they realised it was a lie.

It's not a 1000th of what that girl must've gone through, but still, my parents had no clue till afterwards. You can hide many things from your parents if you have the right mindset when you're a teenager.

You are correct in that if they are minus the equipment they will fin something else to rape their victim with. However my method isn't based on that. It is based on deterence, (This is what will happen to you if you are caught.) as well as a rough type of viewable justice for the victim.
