I think this shall be a fine test of how border control can be handled by the states. Governor Abbot is sick and tired of the illegals pouring into the United States. Surely the Conservatives who think that should be our priority right now are willing to suffer a little for $2 lemons. I mean if I'm not mistaken only woke soyboys eat avacadoes or some such shit. So this won't affect all you hardcore conservatives right?

You’re avocado toast will bankrupt you!

I filled up my truck with lemons and was shocked at the $2 per lemon price. How can people get to work at those prices?

In Watsonville, California during the late Spring, Artichokes can be had for as little as 50 cents a piece. (And I remember seeing them for less than that.)

In Idaho, any time of year, they can be had for as little as three dollars a piece. And usually, for more than that.

Grow local, shop local- that is they key; but sadly neither lemons, artichokes, nor avocados can grow in the climate I currently live in- look at it this way; it's April 13th and it fuckin' snowed here today.

My favorite sandwich at a defunct sandwich chain had avocado slices. That was the only time I ate avocados. I never had guacamole.

The avocado industry is rife with gangs and corruption. Besides not being environmentally sustainable. They should be avoided.

It's certainly not hitting me in the wallet...

;)

... not in a significant way.

Hell, I buy a bunch of avocados and half of them go bad before I use them,
so...,

I'll just buy half the avocados that I used to.
