49 Years

That's how long ago my older brother got married. Actually, it was 49 years and one day ago, when he was 20 and his bride was 16, and they were hitched in the parlor of her grandparents. Her grandfather, a Baptist minister, officiated. Five children and numerous grandchildren later, they are still happy together.

If anybody is interested, their first child was born about eighteen months after the wedding.
