Are elections always like this when there's an incumbent? Mitt felt like a throwaway candidate from the very beginning, but from what I remember, so did Kerry in 2004, and his campaign seemed to have some comparable cock-ups (though at least John Edwards had the foresight to wait a few years before being exposed as cheating on his dying wife). Was Bob Dole this much of a train wreck? That was before I could vote, and all I remember is Viagra.

Its about time someone spoke the truth, and furthermore it makes it clear Romney is indeed a great analyst of a situation who can summarize reality effectively and formulate a plan to deal with it.

back when bush was in office, i was bitching to my parents about how much i had to pay in taxes. i made shit where i worked. it turned out they ended up getting back over $10,000. needless to say, we were in different tax brackets. after bush left office, they were no longer privy to special tax breaks for the wealthy. they still don't plan on voting for romney, and neither do i.
