Hello! Good Midwestern stock here as well. Not sure what kind of picture you're talking about. I can help you post a picture in the body of your message, but haven't found the key to uploading an avatar. (Though it's getting to the point where I'm going to figure it out or toss my laptop trying.)

I think to get an avatar, you need a certain number of minimum posts (100 maybe?). No laptop tossing!!

Go to your inbox/pm box.

To the left will be a list of things, such as signature, etc. One of them will be to edit your profile pic.

Click on the browse (i think it is, I will need to go check after I post this) and it should pop up with pictures you have on your computer.

Click on the one you want to share and then hit submit and it should show up if it is the right size.

If not, I am sure, SD will be helpful in that area.

And I think the profile pic runs along the same restrictions as the avatar - 100 posts although everytime I have tried to look it up I can never find anything that actually SAYS that.

Thing is I don't like posting for the sake of posting just to get my numbers up.

I'll get there one day...

Upper left-hand corner it says user CP click that

This will open up another screen/window and on the left hand toolbar column it says edit profile picture

At that point you can either upload from a URL or from your own computer.

You will likely need to edit the photo size to make sure It's the right size 250x250 pixels
