This is my 40,000th post.

I happened to look a couple weeks ago and saw I was nearing 39,900 and was like holy shit.

I'm torn between seeing this as something to be proud of as it demonstrates my time and contribution here

Or something to be ashamed of for wasting so much damn time in the procrastination destination of the AH. Especially considering this 40k includes an 18 month absence here from 2018-2020 and a few other litoffs I've taken.

Probably a little of both I guess.

In thinking of this, I'd like to see a break down as in how many posts were...

1-Helpful
2-Snarky
3-Repetitive(a stat I imagine none of us would want to see, the under age question threads alone...)
4-Relevant to writing
5_completely irrelevant to anything
6-Posted while drunk

That's exactly what I thought. They were discussing horror in his other thread, and my thought was, "Couldn't you just discuss 40k in there? Surely the lore is pretty horrific, right?

Oh, the lore IS horrific. There's a fantastic YouTuber who puts out often hour-long discussions on 40k topics and his series on the worst jobs in the Imperium cost me a few nights' sleep.

Someone posted a video link in the horror thread about a Lovecraftian style insect race, might be from the guy you're talking about because its close to an hour long.

I like people who deep dive like that, there's a great LOTR You tuber Nerd of the rings that does it

Not that I know of, but something tells me no one here would come close, there's people in the GB who's alts have thousands of posts, never mind the main account. Someone over there-can't recall who...went over 100k and that was some time back.
