No, I have not. However, as I said, people have been warned of the addictive nature of these drugs. Knowing that, they should have availed themselves of the numerous options, many taxpayer funded, to get them off the drugs.

It sounds like I'm heartless, and to some extent that is true, but it goes back to what I have said many times when being accused of being a "liberal": personal responsibility. If you keep going back, even if the doctor keeps giving you the same thing, that is on you. You have to recognize the issue and do something about it.

In 2018, Purdue Pharma patented a new form of buprenorphine, which controls cravings and is used to treat addiction to opioids such as OxyContin.[26]
