Just checking my scores this morning, looking for new comments, and kept noticing the score: 4.46

Drives me crazy, JUST under that little "H" mark... but it seems weird, so many of them sitting right exactly at that number!?

Maybe I should play the lottery? :D

well 4.46 divided by 1.618 (Phi, the number of aesthetic perfection) comes out to 2.75649..... Not sure what that means but its fun to play with numbers.

The number of perfection is actually Pi as there is really no end to Pi and Pi = 3.14159265 to 8 decimal places.

They(Universities) have actually calculated Pi to 100,000 decimal places, or was it a million? No matter the number will just keep going and going and going...kinda like the Energizer Bunny.

ETA: It was a million places...you can see it here.

that one is worse, I agree... lol as is the horrible 4.49! :)

Kate, yeah, my little foray into pure stroke has caused a strange following... it's been actually a little scary for me... I think I kind of liked being obscure...

Ch1 of my new story is at 4.5. It's moved from 4.51 to 4.49, then back. What pisses me off is that I know the writing is good, but it received a bunch of 1s early on from people who figured that I was going to take the rest of the story in a certain direction (which I didn't) and voted bad about what they expected the rest of the story to be. Reading the comments is hysterical because they're mostly wrong. I know it's my own fault for writing a story that stirs up people's emotions but doesn't give them an idea where it's heading, but isn't that what good writing should do, keep you guessing?

Every time it dips under 4.5 I cringe because I workes so hard to get that one right in particular. The last chapter was easy and it's at 4.81. Same story, same characters, less sex, but .3 higher. I wish nobody had told me about the damn 'h', now I can't stop worrying about it.
