35 and shy

OK, so I have been lurking in Lit for a while now, and I am taking the plunge in posting here. I'm 35, divorced and in Atlanta, Cumming actually, lol. I don't really go out much, and when I do, its with the same group of friends to the same boring places. I'm ready to change that. At this point in time I don't really know what I'm looking for other than something different. I can do ok in social gatherings, but I can be shy with women. Its been over five years for me, and I'm tired of being alone. I'm willing to cyber, im, phone, meet, whatever.
