My fave poet has deleted all her poems (she knows who she is).

I hope all is okay hon. Going away for a while, just wanted to send you a hug.

:rose:

She's on the board now, I don't want to embarass her.

Just wanted to send her my love and best wishes and hope everything is okay.

Poets have different reasons for deleting there poems from lit. She may want to submit them elsewhere, maybe to a magazine or e-zine.

That's why I take mine off. A whole bunch are gonna make an exodous soon because they're being submitted to various places. That's a good thing for me!

When I submitted some to other e-zines, I had a poet tell me not to worry about what's on literotica. She said most e-zines/magazines would never read the poetry here, or at least, never admit to it. So, who knows...

I consider this more of a workshop. I mean anything you put in comes out. I tell them that my poem was workshopped on line.

If it gets accepted, then I remove it from lit.

Here is my latest rejection. I think it might be my favorite. lol

Hello:

Thank you for submitting your work. We've carefully considered your
submission but have decided to pass. Please consider us again in the future.

decided to pass! oh my so harsh!

thank god I have some people who seem to like my stuff here because it is a tough world out there. I might be spending my time cleaning the house all day or something. Baking pies. Who knows.

Ang-- If you don't mind sharing (here or in private or not that is it is all good) where do you have work published or are you just starting to put stuff out ? :) I would love to visit! Best of luck on your new round.

I have seen Eve's, dh and Jim's popping out here and there, :D
which is always cool!

I currently have stuff at Agnieszka's Dowry and Exquisite Corpse. I was also just invited (by the publisher) to submit for inclusion in an anthology called "Voices of a Generation," which I'm pretty darn excited about, but I won't know till October or November whether my poems are accepted. And my book, One Window, WILL be published pending um personal issues.

And I've been rejected by some of the finest publishers around, lol. My favorite rejection is from New Yorker. At least they--sorta--know I exist. :D

My next goal is to get my jazz poems into Brilliant Corners. I'm sending them a bunch soon.
