Passion

Passion for me isn't anything I can describe directly. It's more feelings than anything else. I can be passionate about ideas or sports or family and that is going to come with many different feelings about each one. I am very passionate about surfing and it means I desire going to the ocean at a level that causes me some depression if I don't get enough of it. When I do go surfing and have a good trip I become full- filled and full-up on feelings of satisfaction, happiness, well being. I don't just feel these things in my head, rather, I feel them through out my whole body and most in my heart and my sole.

For me passion for another person is the same. It can come in many forms also...passion for being a father or a son. I am both. Passion for deep, authentic contact with my family and friends. Both can be deeply loving and passionate. Erotic passion with my lover(s) is all this with the added element of sexual contact in it's multitude of forms.

This is a start as to what being passionate means to me.
