26th January is Australia day here in Oz and is also Republic day in India - equivalent of July 4th in the USA.

Congratulations to us and to India - and we promise not to say too much about the hiding Australia is giving the Indian cricket team in Adelaide today.

We shoulda' had fireworks, but we're having so much rain they may not happen.
Beer is every day in Oz. I'm having a glass of red after dinner at the moment - a Penfolds shiraz.

We had fillet of 'roo, lightly grilled and served with yabbies and prawns(shrimps) for dinner;betcha can't think of another country that eats its national emblem!
