Single looking for some conversation with a woman on this somewhat rainy day. Any topic, not really concerned about age, just feel it a bit lonely.

Just a bit of kind of advice. I don't think a profile with a few words and no real sentences is going to attract a lot of attention. Maybe beef that bad boy up. You know, something like "Was accepted into the astronaut training program but turned it down so that I could accept the Fulbright Scholarship. Unfortunately, my mom was stricken with cancer so I had to drop out and start a construction company to help pay her bills."

Other things like "I am currently working on my second patent", and "I am not always available on weekends as I spend two per month building homes for Habitat For Humanity and night times can be difficult as I currently serve on the boards of three charities."

Under interests, try "Going to bullfights on acid".

Ok, you get the point. Just a friendly bit of help. :)

Thanks for the advice

I'll see what I can do, I'm not exactly the best at that sort of thing.

I figured you were

I know that profile building is not my strong suit, never really know what others may find interesting I guess.

Don't write to what the listeners want to hear, write to who you are. Honesty is the best policy. Like Han Solo said in The Force Awakens, women always figure out the truth, always.

And there are a number of women around here who seem to be more into guys in their 20s. I'll let you figure out who is who in the zoo however. Just take this as fatherly advice. My dad was bagging women 30 years his junior into his late 70s. I guess it's in my DNA.

Never thought I'd hear someone make a Han Solo reference to help me beef up an online profile.

I can't say I have seen it that many times, though it far exceeded my expectations.
