Despite the rummours, Mic k was not the first to say, "I grabbed my axe and split for Birdland."

Thankfully it’s now the 27th July where I am. I really liked the Stones when I was growing up and still enjoy that music today but they should have retired long ago rather than continue to live on their ego. I’m sure others can come up with a name more fitting for them today.

They've reached the point of just being a joke. Sure they can sound okay doing a couple songs from their homes on zoom, but a full concert...they're wheezing and staggering around.

Some bands don't know when to hang it up. I saw Deep Purple two years ago with Alice Cooper. Cooper is amazing, he has not lost a step or a note and he is still a showman.

DP (what's left of them, Jon Lord passed away and Blackmoore left ages ago.) were awful, just awful. Ian can't hit the notes, they have to do a keyboard solo every couple of songs because they need to rest and he botched the lyrics in one of their songs...they were so bad I left partway through the set because I was embarrassed for them.

Their family needs to intervene and tell them its over.
