25 Years To Life in a women's prison: OOC

This is not ready to start yet, as I am still partially on vacation (that's holiday for those of you in Anglophile circles). However, I am taking the story of the Elaine Harrison character and seeing where it can go for her. This is not strictly a Sapphic tale, however, as there are some male prison guards. However, the main theme is a push by the sister of her murder victim to take out her revenge on the woman who killed her sister Penelope Billings. This was a murder done in retaliation for adultery between Penelope and Jack Harrison, the husband of Mrs. Harrison. He was shot and barely survived himself, since then filing for divorce on grounds of domestic violence and imprisonment.

I will play one of the male guards and sometimes her estranged husband, so my role is more fluid, but I do intend to moderate the thread and give it the occasional nudge. The main characters will be women in this one. Inmates, Marcia Billings, the female warden, and female prison guards. There is also room for a defense lawyer of either sex.

Some restrictions on the bio apply for Mrs. Harrison, but otherwise, it's first come, first served. It was a sudden burst of inspiration here. She's very jealous, angry, and bitter about the whole thing right now, not to mention somewhat conventional in her sexual attitudes, which should make things interesting.

Everything else is up to the player.

As a single Desire had all the time in the world so she pulled extra shifts at the prison, besides it was not always boring. there were a few male guards and she had gotten to know one of them rather well in her 3 monthes here. But more then that there we a lot of woman and all of them wanted favors, favors that cost them.

John spent 10 years in the Royal Marines before emigrating to the States where he was able to gain employment as a prison guard. A straight talker he likes things to run smoothly and does whatever he needs to do to ensure that things run his way.

Thanks for all of the interest. We still need an Elaine and a Marcia, at least, but I am not rushing back into the SRPs yet, anyway. Actual roleplaying will still have to wait until my vacation is completely over.
