So now I am shown as writer on most of my stories instead of editor. I guess that I should count myself lucky that my threads come to me for approval or otherwise I would really by screwed.

Anyone else having this problem?

I also wonder if the site is going to update on only a monthly basis now?

Strange happenings at Chyoo and as usual we are left to guess what the heck is going on.

Jake,
I only have 3 stories of my own on CHyoo and all 3 are still fine. I am the editor of them. Everything on my stories looks right. Is that where you're seeing the problem? You still get to edit all your stuff right?

I'm an editor again

Now I have the editor rights restored on all but a few of my stories? I am more confused than ever. I hope this doesn't signal some massive corruption in the Chyoo database that is going to eventually corrupt the whole system.

Hmmm, that sounds a little dramatic, but my experience with databases that start acting weird has not been good.

Return of the case-sensitive login problem?

I recall a discussion some time ago about making sure you log in with the same capitalization every time.

You can log in as "User" or "user" and it will appear to succeed, but permissions may be messed up. (Are you sometimes Jakelyon and sometimes jakelyon?)

You are correct Z. When my hard drive crashed a while back I reloaded my name with a capital J and things have not been right since. Once I fixed the login back to a small j everything seems right. Thanks for being on top of things.

This is a much better way to get posts. Unfortunaly there is no way to do what you want. The only way to change your name is start over with a new name.
