21st Century boy [Magicians](ooc thread)

Adamascus.
That's name he claims to have, this man I've been tending to for about 2 weeks now; this strange man that claims he's a magician- no, wizard. Not the David Copperfield kind of magician- more like Merlin and all that. The hospital released him to me after the accident- after all, its the last I could do for him after saving my life. I refer to him as Adam. It's the only name we can get from him...

He claims to be from the middle ages, to have been the king's advisor... and that he's being followed by another magician, Kalemnon, an evil man that wants Adam's power. He says he came to the future to find a way to save the past... and that his foe has found his own way here.

I'm not sure what to do with him. He believes this all so much.. And what's crazy, is I'm actually starting to believe him too. He seems so confused by things like my tv, my microwave, even my phone; maybe he has amnesia, but its hard to blame it all on that. Some of the things he's done have no explination- like his broken arm, healed two days after I brought him home; the odd trinkets I've been finding around the place; but what really gets me is that I've noticed a man following me the last few days... Am I going crazy? Or is Adam really what he claims to be?

David Brookes- EJ's friend and camera man, also aware of Adam's claims.

EJ likes to take chances. Anything for a good story- no matter how much it might freak out her friends. She's put herself in danger plenty of times to get the dirt on a good story- and ended up relying on Dave to get her out of trouble.
She used to believe in stories of magic and wizards- but that passed when she turned 12. Then she grew new interests; technology, television, and boys. Her job means a lot to her, but she also loves to have fun. She likes to tinker with electronics, and can often be found in clubs.

Skilled in the ways of the Wizard, she has been faithful since her taking at the age of 18
5'5 flaming red hair and piercing green eyes
lithe, agile with cat like reflexes. She appears waif like almost a child and has the power of deception. She feeds off others fears and her powers revolve around just that. She likes to befriend her prey.


She has been on the hunt for Adamascus for a while with her master. They feared the worst as he has sent them all to the future. She hates the powers bestowed upon Adamascus and stands to be rewarded for his life by Kalemnon.

I based this off a story I wrote for my creative writing class back in college. I had Adam stuck in his early 30's thanks to a spell that kind of backfired on him. Up ot you if you want to keep that or tinker on your own.

Adamascus was a waizard of no small power in his own time. His magic was the strongest in the land, matched only by his rival Kalemmon. Kings came to him for advice, men desperately sought him out as a means to end their troubles. Adamascus' might power allowed him to see into the future and it was there his troubles began. A vision, something in the future that would have reverberations into the past, some power that would rip asunder the fabric of space and time. It was up to him to travel forth... up to him to save the universe from tearing itself apart. If only he'd studied the time he was travelling to just a little bit better....
