I think differnt people have differnt reasons for being here.for some its just cause they are lonly

I will agree with you to a certain extent. Superficial place? Yes definately, but is it like that always? Maybe not, if you are lucky that is.

On a good day you may find something that will take you to new levels.

Maybe I'm a sinick ( i think thats right), but I really haven't found any really good connections online. Most are or were already my friends. I'm hoping with web cam technology, it will be a little easier because you'll be able to see who you are really talking to.

What do you people think?

I have some friends I met here over two years ago and we still communicate regularly. I have met some ladies on here who say they want long term friends but soon you never hear from them.
I think a lot are on here to see how many conquests they can make.

true enough. actually, friendship or acquaintanceship might be more appropriate. although, i don't think many (at least myself) came looking for it, a portion of it may develop via playfulness.

love on the other hand, is a totally different creature.
