2019 NFL Playoffs - Come Here To Root, Scream, Cheer, Cry, Vent, or Just Comment

It's NFL Playoff Time here in these United States of America. This weekend, there are 2 games Saturday and 2 on Sunday. As the number of games decrease, the intensity increases, and throughout the whole time, it's "win or go home."

For me, my Ravens are in the playoffs for the first time since 2014. We changed quarterbacks in the middle of the season and the new guy has lost only one game (and that was the fault of our defense, not him). We play the LA Chargers. We just played them two weeks ago and beat them, but they are good team and nothing is assured.

Is your team in the playoffs? Are you optimistic, pessimistic, or unsure? Are you going to the game? If not, are you watching at home, with friends, family? Are you going to an "establishment" to watch the game?

If you're a neutral observer, share who you think wins the early rounds. Do you have any rooting interests? Who do you like to make it to the Super Bowl and why?

Good luck in the playoffs. I have no dog in the fight as I am a Bucs fan and honestly prefer college football.

I don’t give Lamar Jackson much longer before NFL defenses figure out how to shut him down. Eventually he will have to beat teams with his arm.

I agree with what you're saying, for the most part. He'll be given every opportunity to learn to pass first, and if he doesn't, he'll end up like every other quarterback that put himself at risk (ie, out of the league).

But a lot of us here are sick and tired of mediocre Joe Flacco with his 3 and out, check down passing. It's got us nowhere, and Lamar has won 6 out of 7 games.

Riding that bus til it breaks down!

I’m an Eagles season ticket holder. I think they can beat the Bears on Sunday

God Bless Mommy, Daddy and the Chicago Bears!

This is an interesting game to me. It's a good team with little or no playoff experience against an OK team with good playoff experience. History is littered with teams that had great regular seasons, but had no playoff experience and were one and done.

This game and the Dallas/Seattle game fall into that category.

Good luck to both of you. I have lots of friends on both sides of this one, so I'm staying on the sidelines.

Well, my Giants are out, again, so I have no favorite horse. But, number 3 draft spot!

My poor Skins are limping into last place again. Man, I’m no fair-weather fan but damn. Best of luck and may the best team win. (Except the Cowboys—luv ya, VIPER) I kid...I kid...

Now college ball is a whole different story. Roll Tide!!

The Cowboys are bad enough with out you taking shots.

Better than the Skins.

Serious question:

I understand loyalty to a team, but when the team in question has been so horribly run, made such bad decisions, and is owned and controlled by what seems to be a terrible person, at what point do stop sticking with them?

If the team shows no commitment to the fans and community, why have commitment in them. Speaking from personal experience here about a certain baseball team in south florida.

It’s football. I don’t define myself, or anyone, by their sports team. It’s my hometown team. I’ve always lived here. I hate the name. I hate the way it’s run. But it’s my team. So, they suck right now. Hopefully they’ll figure it out. But if they don’t, c’est la vie.

Fair enough, and agree completely about not defining yourself by a team. Maybe they'll figure it out, not holding my breath as long as Snyder is around.

I want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl again just so the haters will pull all their hair out.

Offside!

*opps, wrong foutball*

I think you'll find that's the right football ;)

Everyone seeing the Saints as the favourites? As a neutral I honestly have no idea who is going to win it all this year. Although the team I've enjoyed watching the most is definitely Kansas.
