For those of you who would like to have a continuation of Literotica's Survivor Contest, please post your interest to the link below.

The writer with the most stories in the most categories wins. Being that I won the contest three times, came in 2nd three times, and finished in 3rd place twice, the contest holds a special significance for me.

As if I was a clown sitting on a board over a pool of water with a target over my head and daring you to dunk me, I dare anyone to beat me in the Survivor contest. I didn't even try to win last year and I finished 3rd. I'd definitely play more seriously again if Liteorica was to host the contest for 2016.

Rumor has it, something I overheard in a closed door discussion between Manu and Laurel, that instead of giving out cash prizes, first prize is a weekend with Laurel or with Manu, your choice. How about that? Someone will finally get to meet them, hopefully in the buff.

Second prize is an all expense paid tour of Literotica's mansion hidden away somewhere in the Alps or in the Black Forrest.

Third to fifth prizes are a brand new 2016 Mustang GT, Mini Cooper S, and Volkswagen GTI. How about that? Everyone loves to win a new car as a Prize, right? Only, I don't know it the die cast cars will be 1/18th scale or 1/25 scale.

Sixth to fifteen prizes are a heartfelt congratulations.

So...what do you say? Are you ready to play? Can anyone beat me in Survivor?

"I dare you to sign up to play. You've been dared. I double dare you. You've been double dared."

I haven't heard anything about Literotica having a 2016 Survivor Contest but being that they've had one since 1999, it would be a shame to allow the contest to die.

Being that I write stories anyone, even if the contest doesn't have prizes, it was still fun. The Survivor contest inspires writers to write in categories that they ordinarily wouldn't post stories.

In the old days, a writer could have an unlimited amount of stories in a category. I preferred the old rules because then, I could list every story that I wrote for the year instead of being restricted to only 3 stories in each category before being allowed to go to the next step.

Perhaps with you as the 2015 Survivor contest champion, you could ask Boxlicker if he has plans of moderating a contest for 2016.

I propose a new Survivor contest

We have more than 70,000 writers who post stories to the Literotica board. Yet, few of those writers, a very small percentage, participate in the Survivor contest. Why?

Perhaps most writers only write stories in one, two, or a few categories. Just because a writer doesn't write or is unable to write in the 30 or 35 categories needed to successfully compete in Survivor shouldn't deny them the chance to compete and win.

I propose a new Survivor contest, a contest that was much like the old Survivor contest before we had 3, 2 and 1 story caps, before allowed to post a story to the next cap level.

My idea is to allow a writer to post as many stories as he'd or she'd like to post to any category. Chapter stories must be 3,000 words minimum but, in line with Literotica's rules for a story, any stand alone story must be a minimum of 750 words, hopefully much more.

By changing the rules of Survivor to embrace more writers, I think more writers would play. I imagine a contest with 1,000 writers playing. I imagine Boxlicker having a staff of young, beautiful women helping him with scorecards. With this simple rule change, writers can post every story that they write no matter if they only write stories in 1, 2 or only a few categories. If they write one hundred stories in incest in the course of they year, under this new Survivor contest, they can post all 100 stories to the incest category.

We just need Box to give us the thumbs up sign to have a contest.

What do you think?

I think the reason most writers don't enter survivor is not everyone cares how many categories they write in or how many stories they write period.

And its not advertised anywhere, most of the people who did it last year were from the forums and we're a tiny percentage of the writers here. I think it was on the home page in the past, but many people don't log into it they log into new story page or just check around on their fav author pages.

Whether you have 1 story or 100 stories to enter in the 2016 Survivor contest, you still win.

Your stories are posted to your scorecard for anyone to open and read, as long as you give a link to your story and not just the title.

I think having a different Survivor contest for 2016 where every story that anyone writes is eligible to enter in the contest, no matter how many stories are written in how few categories, would make for a more interesting contest.
